I can control it from my phone via the app. It does not have a continuous "true water-pumping action", but you can attach a hose and direct your hose to a drain if the hose can drain slightly downward towards the drain.

great alternative to air conditioning

We haven’t had to run our AC since buying it. Reducing the humidity really makes the room so comfortable, that even if the weather is extremely hot, we are fine without the ac.

Good dehumidifier

Can run on continuous fan to keep cycle consistent. Can operate all the way down to 35% RH. I run my 100% on cool cycle in basement and works great. (even with windwos open upstairs during cool nights)

Awesome item

I leave in southeast Texas and it’s very humid. It got the humidity down from 81 to 32 in a couple of hours. My a/c unit doesn’t run all day like it use to before I got it. Best investment

The overflow tube is super long allowing easier set up with no reservoir tank dumps. It runs fairly quiet, but makes good "white noise" to fall asleep to. Filter is super easy to clean.

We had humidity level of about 85% in basement and musty odor. Unit ran for a week straight and dropped it down below 50%, and this is a good size basement! Nice to have drain hose so don’t need to empty.

The setpoint actually works (compared to my previous dehumidifier) and the unit only operates when needed. Can change setting to fit the season. The app is convenient but not a must.
