Great machine- the WiFi set up was a little challenging but when it was set up works great. Very happy with this machine so far.

Works excellent on my basement now I can see different house without water on walls

I replaced an 11 year old mid tier 70pt Frigidaire unit that finally died. That unit wasn't great but it wasn't bad either given the relative price. This unit was double the price, so I expected it to be substantially better. As it turns out, this unit is extremely lackluster especially given it's supposed to be a smart device. First, the setup and control of the device is atrocious. If the unit is "off" the "smart" stuff won't turn it back on. When it's left on at target points, it continues to use full power whether it's just blowing or actively dehumidifying. It doesn't have an on off duty cycle like every other dehumidifier. On top of that this thing is an extreme power hog. It literally doubles my electricity usage! And that's with the AC running during the summer. My old unit was a hog but it only accounted for about 10-20% of my summer usage, not half! Not more than all my other electronics and HVAC systems combined! Just absurd! Needless to say I'll be replacing this next season. This is too expensive to operate when it can't even do a basic duty cycle.

Bought as recommended and it works well and literally sucks water out of the air. Can be a bit noisy but not that much. Downside is while sucking out humidity, it does warm the air around it - it emits heat!!

The dehumidifier worked great for two summers and then just stopped working. I expected it to last longer than about 8 total months of runtime.

Has worked very well. The only issue is the drain drawer can be tricky getting it in and out. Auto shut off feature is great!

Over the past 5 years, I purchased dehumidifiers by GE and Frigidaire. Neither lasted more that three years. I hope I have better luck with this one.

Works perfectly it was just damaged in shipping (Broken wheel and damaged housing).

this machine is a must have if your place have a lot off moister keeps. keeps my basement comfortable and no smell.

Does its job is a bit noisy, but what do you expect.

Needed a replacement for a Honeywell that died after 7 years. This is running in the basement.

I bought this unit one month ago and can say that it works well so far. It was NOT inexpensive but fits my need. Setting up the WiFi connection was challenging but that too is working well.

Decent dehumidifier but not sure if the humidistat is accurate because its reading fluctuates wildly. The hose connector is valuable - no emptying the bucket. The mobile app is practically worthless. It only shows reading when the device is on and it feels like it was an afterthought or internal experiment. It is quiet noisy when running.

Honeywell is a name brand that I recognize, and it does a great job at taking moisture out of air in my basement. I like the longer warranty compared to others.

It helps keep the humidity at bay. Helping with the costs and alleviating the energy usage of ac. Great product. Just bulky. But that’s expected

Have set my new Honeywell - 70-Pint Smart Portable Dehumidifier at a 45 degree humid level and it has kept my basement at that level ever since I turned it on. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this model a second time after the first one broke down 17 days after the 4 year extended warranty expired. It was acting flaky a year prior as it was shutting off sporadically but I didn’t take it back to the store for a replacement in time. It was too heavy to haul up the basement stairs and I thought it would last a good 5 years as my house is less than half the sqr foot coverage claimed by the specifications. Shame on me to assume that BB would honor the replacement as it permanently stopped working so close to the warranty expiration date. But they didn’t, even after having been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Then Amazon listed the price for $279 for the same exact model this week and BB wouldn’t honor the price match because the manufacturer dropped price and not Amazon. Again letting me down! They wouldn’t reimburse the $69 difference abd recommended I read the fine print in their price match policy! Truly unbelievable and so disappointed with BB again!!!
