After removing the bucket, there is then dripping inside the dehumidifier that requires it to be wiped down prior to replacing the bucket. Although this was not the least expensive unit available, we purchased it because of the Honeywell name.

We are happy to hear that the unit was able to remove the moisture from the area you needed it to. When the eater tank is gull, the unit will let out a beep and stop functions, only to resume operations when the water tank has been emptied. You can set up the unit for continuous drainage in order to avoid manual drainage. When you remove the water tank, there might be some left over water dripping from the insides, and that will need to be dried. My first dehumidifier

After using the Honeywell's unit it brought the temps down tremendously. Time will tell if it holds but for now I will recommend this unit.

Great dehumidifier, horrible water tank

It soaked my upstairs carpeting and went into the floor beneath me causing damage to the ceiling. I currently have the tube running into a water jug. I don’t believe this is a true Honeywell product, I emailed the company that makes it numerous times and they won’t reply to my request for a new water tank. I’ve even offered to pay for it, even though I’ve only had it a couple of months. Not sure what else to do, but Honeywell is a great company normally, but unfortunately the company that licensed their name isn’t as reliable.

Nice looking, decent unit

Perhaps I have an extremely humid area but it’s only about 500 sq. Ft and the unit runs almost constantly. It’s not a super loud unit but it’s not ultra quiet (i would give it a B). The WiFi operation instructions isn’t super smooth but you will figure it out. Overall it’s decent.

Posted .Thank you for your review and feedback ! Our dehumidifiers work best in enclosed spaces, with all doors and windows shut, not letting new moisture in. You may also need to check for additional sources of moisture in the room. Set levels of humidity may impact why you feel the unit runs constantly. There is a 5% threshold when the desired humidity setting has been reached. The
compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. Our units work by pulling moisture-laden air, condensing moisture from the air, which is then collected in the water tank. The dry air is then exhausted from the dehumidifier, which flows through the air vents of the dehumidifier into the room as dry, warm air. So the area that is being dehumidified will not very warm.

Some floors may have an uneven surface which may affect the continuous drainage function. You may need to raise the front of the Dehumidifier ½ to 1 inch (1.27 cm to 2.54 cm) from the floor.
