    I loved this dehumidifier at the beginning but then after a couple of weeks it stopped working.

    Too inaccurate to be useful

    Does an okay job removing moisture in a 2000 Sq ft basement but the humidistat is 7 degrees high which essentially makes it useless. Bought two other standalone humidistats to verify because I couldn't believe it could be so bad. And you can do nothing on the app but change the humidity setting and turn the fan to high or low. No other functions are available.

    The WIFI capability is nice to be able to place the unit downstairs in a basement and not have to worry about turning it on, off, or changing the desired humidity level. The reason I do not recommend this unit is that it freezes / frosts up constantly and makes the unit worthless. I plan to return this unit and try another manufacturer as there seems to be significant design flaws with this model.

    Works fine. Sensor for the humidity on the front is way off. Called Honeywell and they basically said it’s within the percentage of being correct. It’s 20 percent off. Unacceptable in my eyes. Also the smart features for the app are extremely disappointing.

    When we got this home and opened the box we noticed that the air filter was missing. It was too late to contact the manufacturer so we called the next day and the customer rep said she would get one sent out to us. We never received it. After 3 1/2 weeks of use we heard an extremely loud humming sound coming from this unit. It was so loud that we could hear it on the 1st floor of our home (the dehumidifier was in the basement). Thankfully we purchased an extended warranty and returned it and purchased a totally different brand.

The compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. Operation restores once the relative humidity is 5% higher than your desired setting. This might explain why you feel the unit never shuts off.     Was replacing one that I bought 18 months ago and had leaked all it's freon. This one was lost in the warehouse and hard to find so I figured it was an old one left over from last year. Got it home and it just froze up. Sure sign that the freon was almost gone from this one as well.These seem to be good for about 18 - 24 months. If you buy get the extended warranty.

    I've been running this now for two months and my basement living room to keep the humidity under 50% without running A&C. The unit started leaking at some point and we didn't catch it until the carpet was saturated and the wall trim was soggy. I will be contacting the manufacturer for a refund.

    My unit leaks all the time, it’s nearly unusable. It leaks every time I change the tank because water keeps dripping once it stops running so you have to let it “rest” for hours after it stops running to let all the water run out of the system. Also, the mechanism that automatically cuts it off when the tank is full is unreliable so sometimes it will just overflow and leak water everywhere so you can’t leave it running when you’re out of the house. I would return it if I could.

    Returned.....after 1 week of use to observe performance, the fan ran continuously, never shut off. It didn't do a decent job at moisture removal either. Obviously, it was a defective unit. This company, which I'm guessing purchased the Honeywell name under license needs to do a better job with quality control.

    We have had this unit for 8 days and it has never turned itself off. The calibration of humidity is so out of whack! We have the unit set at 50. It will drop the room reading down to 45, which is when it should turn off. But instead, it goes into cool down mode and the reading immediately jumps 5-6 degrees, which then triggers the unit to continue running. I stood there and watched it just tick back up. From 45 to 51 in less than 90 seconds. Returning it.

    This product was not up to the job of controlling the humidity in my spacious basement. However, the BestBuy staff did a very good job of handling my request and processing a refund when I returned the product.

    Stops running for no reason, indicates it's full when it's not, won't restart after bucket is drained, wireless notification settings are poorly documented (it seems like they reference a different product) and the notifications are inconsistent. This is the worst dehumidifier we've ever owned, maybe the works appliance.
