Not bad but can't shut the fan off.

There is a 5% threshold when the desired humidity setting has been reached. The compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. Operation restores once
the relative humidity is 5% higher than your desired setting. This might explain why the fan runs continuously. More problems from Honeywell

Also the sensor to gauge the humidity is way off compared to other devices that I have that also measure humidity in the room. Going forward, I will have to erase that brand from my future purchases.

Product never worked! Support told me to return it

Powered out but would not pull water from the air. Permanently stuck at 50% RH%; on trying to change it up or down (using + or - buttons), received code of EH. Called Honeywell customer support and phone rep said to return it; not working. Nice huh? Fortunately Best Buy had another model in stock which I'm about to unbox and turn on now. Wish me luck!

terrible

It supposed to have an automatic shut off, but that does not work. If you set it as 50% humidity, it will sit at 52%, run constantly, and not collect any water. I bought this less than a year ago and am already looking to replace it. Buy this if you like having very high electric bills

It stopped working in May, 2023, showing E3 error code. Disappointed. Had anotehr one with different brand before 2021, and it lasted 6 years. Will never purchase any Honeywell dehumidifier.

Not so smart

Dud dehumidifier

This unit ran continuously for almost 2 weeks, with a starting humidity of 63%, and it wasn't able to get the humidity below 55%. It fluctuated between 55 and 59%. I returned it to the store while I still could, and got a different brand.

Honeywell dehumidifier

Now the dehumidifier is not pulling the moisture out of the air as it should and would just run constantly if we didn't monitor it, coils have frosted up, we've done everything by the instruction book and still not operating properly.

recently turned on in low room temperatures (usually below 41°F (5°C)). When there is frost build up, the internal compressor will turn off and the fan will continue to run until the frost has melted. Once the internal coils have defrosted and dried, the compressor or fan will automatically restart and dehumidifying will resume. Having trouble with this dehumidifier in under 30

I get a light to check the filter, and the filter is actually frozen to the back of the unit. Getting help via chat is worthless. I have to take it back as I did purchase a long term agreement.

I think the backaging design was poor and or they had been dropped at some point. I will say the exchange and return at Best Buy was a piece of cake.

Disappointed purchase

It worked really well, however, by 9/14 the unit began displaying a fault message. Upon looking it up, it stated that the unit was likely in an area in which the temperature was over 89 degrees F. The actual area never exceeds 70, usually @ 65. As it was past Sept. 7, we could not return to the store, and at this point are awaiting an answer from Honeywell.

Don't buy it

By June it had an annoying rattle like something was loose inside. I have two Frigidaire dehumidifiers that I have been running constantly for over two years and I have not had one issue. This brand just feels cheap.

Reservoir grew mildew within two weeks

Lived a short life.

It worked for 18 months and now my collector bin and hose are bone dry. I have an error code of E3. I am very unhappy, it should have lasted longer. I will not buy another Honeywell.

STAY AWAY

DON'T BUY!!
