It tends to not be able to connect for whatever reason, even when using 2.5G which is what you're supposed to use. When the wifi goes out, you have to reconnect it which is a hassle but other than that, I like this thermostat. Works well with Alexa.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This Thermostat works perfectly and it is not expensive at all, Installation was easy after figuring out where to put the C wire in my AC handler, finally, I found out the famous C wire is just a ground connection so just attaching it to the AC unit chassis made it work so I didn't have to use the provided adapter. Alexa, Google Home and Samsung Smarthings integration are easy to set up and the new Honeywell App is great.

The Honeywell app is a little glitchy at times but if you have HomeKit or the Google/Amazon apps you'll be fine. Make sure you have a C-Wire before installing, this can be the trickiest part and took hours for me to figure out.

It offers a lot of the features you get with some of the bigger names like best and ecobee. You still get schedules, geofencing, and smart controls. Might be 5 stars if I didn’t have issues with the 1st one out of box.
