Awesome Smart Thermostat!

I am not good with electric setups by any means but I set this up myself and connected all of the wires! Don't pay someone else to do it as the directions are pretty clear. The device works as expected and seems to be cutting down on our electric bill! Love this item and highly recommended for anyone!

It worked, but I noticed that when the outside temperature got below the mid-40's and the inside temperature got below the heat setting the heat pump would not turn on because the thermostat went into "wait" mode. Once the outside temperature got above the mid-40's the heat pump would turn on and heat the home. Several calls to customer service have not resolved the problem. It's not the heat pump because I reinstalled the old thermostat and the heat pump turns on when it's supposed to no matter what the outside temperature is. I'll probably reinstall it in the spring but for now it's sitting on the shelf. I also think the app could be more robust; for example, it said "heating" when it was actually in wait mode.

Not too difficult to know which wires go to which terminals is you do a little research on what they are for. No problems connecting to wifi and app on my phone.

It was on sale for $123 and we received a $75 rebate through an energy initiative program. More than happy with this thermostat and app. Easy to install and connect (15 minutes) Seamlessly added to HomeKit and it looks great!
