Don’t waste your time

Tried two of these and returned both. The first one connected and stayed that way for about two days, then disconnected itself and I could never get it to reconnect to the WiFi again. Returned it and tried a second one and could never get it to connect. During setup, it would briefly say it was connected but then ultimately not connect. I have numerous smart devices throughout my home and had no problems with any of them, except for this one. There’s a reason you can now get the T5 for just over $100. It’s because it’s junk!

Go with a Nest, this thing is terrible

Never registers when I'm home or away and refuses to work with any smart home service (Alexa or Google). Alexa actually says "sorry the thermostat is set to auto" and won't let me set my temperature by voice. The last straw was this weekend: I set my thermostat to cool to 80F and heat to 60F while I'm away. The piece of garbage cooled my house to 68F in the middle of the summer. I would never buy a Honeywell product after dealing with this garbage. Order a Nest. I've installes three of them and they don't have these issues.
