The Paws and Claws stainguard solution made a huge difference when we paired it with the Hoover Smartwash Pet Complete, as our carpets just feel and look better. The carpet pile has returned to its near original quality and the physical feel of the carpet is soft and conditioned. We also can smell the difference immediately, as we can become accustomed to the type of lingering smell having pets (nose blind if you will), there is a noticeable aroma of clean laundry coming off the carpet that is not overpowering or aggressive! This type of result is not something we have gotten in the past with other carpet cleaning solutions and rented or borrowed carpet cleaners, we are extremely satisfied with the end result! If you want to get a thorough clean along with a better looking, feeling and smelling carpet I would highly recommend Paws and Claws Stainguard!

I live in the same house for the last 15 years; it is a mix of carpet and hardwood floors with rugs on them. We have always had multiple pets, dogs, cats and even a duck. You become nose blind to your house and sometimes the smells are there, and you don’t even know it. We Cleaned the house this weekend with the Hoover Carpet Cleaner and used the Hoover Paws and Claws Carpet Cleaner and it worked better than expected. As I said we have multiple animals and sometimes they can cause quite a mess, the carpet cleaner removed all the old odors in the carpet, leaving it smelling fresh and smelling new. It was able to remove some older stains that had been in the carpet for years. I don’t think that we are dirty people, but the water was filthy and after cleaning the whole house smelled and felt cleaner.

This is a really good carpet cleaner for many reasons. It leaves your carpet smelling very fresh, without having to use that much. It does a fantastic job at cleaning tough pet stains and removing the odor. It works very well with the Hoover Pet carpet cleaner. I tried this out on my carpet, which was littered with black dirt spots, and a few new added pet stains. Needless to say, after about 10 mins of running the Hoover carpet cleaner filled with the Paws and Claws formula - the results were amazing! My carpet looked like new again, and it smelled very fresh and clean. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a carpet and pets, as well as anyone who has the Hoover Pet carpet cleaner. This did an amazing job cleaning my carpet.

I recently had the pleasure to test out the Paws and Claws carpet cleaning solution in conjunction with my Hoover Smartwash Pet Complete Automatic Cleaner. The solution has easy to read instructions and did a great job. We did our sofa and carpets and they all look like new. The solution has a stain guard that is soft and not hard to the touch like others we have had. We had a couple of dogo "Problem" areas that the solution made short work of and returned our carpet to as new status. All the while leaving our house smelling wonderfully crisp and clean. Again, not like others we have had that have a harsh chemical smell that makes you question if it is safe for your family and your pets.

This is formulated for use in Hoover machines, to deal with stains, especially pet related ones, while leaving the carpet with a slight scent that freshens the room without having too much scent to it. It works with deep cleaning machines to remove stains and dirt, rinsing out easily. I didn't notice any residue left behind, which attests to the quality of the machine as well as the cleaning solution. This is a great option for homes with pets. The cats didn't like the machine, but didn't mind the smell of the carpet after, and we (the people) liked the results too. It cleans really well, restoring the carpet to a much improved condition.

I used this solution with my Hoover SmartWash+ PET Complete Automatic Carpet Washer and it worked really well. Helped remove the track marks on the carpet from the delivery guys as well as the throw up stains left by my cat. Hopefully the stain guard will help prevent further stains where I've cleaned. It has a light cottony cleaning solution smell that doesn't linger too long in the carpet to offend anyone in the house nor the cat. This is a good cleaning solution as evident with the dirty water extracted from using the Hoover SmartWash+ PET Complete Automatic Carpet Washer.

I received this cleaning solution to use with my testing of the Hoover SmartWash+ PET Complete Automatic Carpet Washer. The product worked very well on the carpet and area rug I cleaned. The amount of dirt that was removed was impressive to say the least. Although I'm not sure I would categorize the resulting smell that was left in the rooms by this solution as 'cotton breeze', I would easily say it was clean and fresh. I will definitely buy more of this product when I run out.

To go along with the Hoover Smartwash carpet cleaner I recently received, this is the right cleaning solution to use. I've had great results with it - and it smells good as well. It doesn't foam up and don't feel a residue left on the carpet after it dries - so this is the only solution I plan to use with the cleaner! my dog constantly licks the carpet and makes it smell bad - and this seems to have neutralized that order - at least for now!

Great companion for Hoover's Smartwash + Pet carpet cleaner. Gives you a good supply for multiple cleanings. Made for homes with pets it gets rid of smelly areas and leaves a clean fresh scent. Half gallon in size, it should be enough to do your house a couple of times if it's normal size. Smells much better in my house now and is much cleaner and safer in this time of covid 19.

I used this tonight in my first cleaning using the Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete carpet cleaner. The results were outstanding. The look and smell of the carpet when I finished was really nice. I would recommend it for families that have both carpet and pets!

This stuff works GREAT on pet stains and smells in my home. It removed a lot of things that other solutions I've tried left behind. My home now smells like clean cotton laundry and my carpets are CLEAN AGAIN! When paired with the Hoover Smartwash shampooer you get a lethal combination against dirt, smells and stains!

Pretty decent sized bottle. It smells good, gets the odor out of the stains not just masks it over. After it drys you don’t have the odor anymore. It also doesn’t have one of those chemical smells that most pet deodorizer have that try to eliminate the odor. I used it on my couch and got the stain right out.

I used this with limited expectations after using other cleaners that claimed to tackle tough stains and odor but I was pleasantly surprised. Tackled the tough stains in my high traffic area as well as instantly eliminated odor.

Very good carpet shampoo. I used it to clean up some cat stains, and it worked very well. Did not need to go over the same area multiple times. Stain was removed and so was the odor. I also liked that it didn't leave behind an artificial smell that some other shampoos have.

This product is not the best. Purchase Febreeze infused products instead. Also, spray fabric softener mixed with equal parts water on your carpet (Test out a small area first).

This smells great and works super well for pulling pet stains and smells out of carpet. This is a light and fresh scent and I don't feel the need to air out the room after using it like some other solutions. Gets dirt and random spills out of carpet as well.

The Paws and Claws carpet cleaning formula is very easy to use with the SmartWash carpet cleaner. It is automatically mixed in with water to provide the correct concentration. It leaves my carpet looking and smelling clean without an overwhelming scent.

Used this cleaner with the Smartwash unit... WOW! An old rug is new again! Smell is light and clean which is great. Floral fragrances add to allergy issues so really appreciated the light, clean smell.

This solution removed some older, more set stains from my carpet. Smells nice and dries cleanly. It may not make your carpet look absolutely brand new again, but then again nothing will, hence 5 stars.
