Loved the idea of the removable portion to clean ceiling fans and difficult to reach places and freedom from filter, but Hoover has other models with these specs so will check out one of their other models.

I like the fact that it is adjustable for different types of flooring, as we have oriental rugs that immediately transition to wood. The wand tool is especially nice for cleaning the carpet on the staircase.

If you have a lot of stairs, wood floors and carpet, this is a good product for you. On the other hand. it is heavy and somewhat awkward to move around.

Solid unit

Only used it a couple times since purchasing but out of the box I could already tell it was made much, much better! My old vacuum, which was the model before this one, had cheap thin plastic accessiories that broke far too often. This is definitely a better make and I'm looking forward to having it for a long time.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the handle is offset from the rest of the unit. If the offset had been placed behind the unit instead of the front it would be easier to handle.
