I never do reviews but I was so angry that Hoover would make such a terrible vacuum I had too. This vacuum is so bad that it literally pushes dog hair that is right in front of the vacuum around instead of sucking it up. It is terrible if you have dogs and hardwood floors it picks up nothing. The only way I can clean my floors is with the attachments. I will be returning this to Best Buy tomorrow! just so people know it's the Hoover air steerable that is so terrible.

Posted .Hi susan! It sounds like your brushroll is off. To activate the brushroll, recline the handle and hit the brushroll switch, which is located next to the power switch. You can also remove the hose to check for clogs and wash your rinsable filter to maintain maximum suction. Hope this helps! - Michael, Customer Care
