Very well built and sturdy for its small size. Very strong suction and powerful roller gets carpets extremely clean. Easy to maneuver and easy to switch from main vacuum to extension. My only 2 gripes are the small size. It really should be marketed as a small apartment vacuum. The track is pretty narrow and it's small bin needs frequent emptying. Also the hose attachment isn't very versatile. I really like this machine and would definitely go with it if you have a smaller apt or condo. Personally, I would have spent the extra 50 bucks to get the larger model if I could.

Picks up dirt you didn't even know you had! Easy to switch from floor to hand wand! Love the easy to dump canister Long cord lets you go easily from room to room!

I was shopping for a Shark, but was not able to locate the one I wanted so decided to buy the Hoover knowing it has always been a good name brand. It has worked well for the area that I needed it for.

Excellent performance!! Lightweight, long cord, powerful suction and a 5 year warranty. Great at picking up pet hair and steering makes it painless to use.

I was pleasantly surprise that this vacuum cleaned as well and/or better as my old Dyson. I would recommend this vacuum cleaner to other customers who are on a budget and want something comparable to a more expensive vacuum like a Dyson.

Vac is lightweight and does a decent job picking up. Wider cleaning path would make it even better and a retractable cord.

We have tried several light weight vacuums, Shark & Dyson, and none of them picked up dog hair like this Hoover Upright. I'm old and weak so I needed something very easy to use, light weight to carry, and extremely simple to empty...this vacuum gets an B+ in those categories and an AAA for fur removal. We love our dogs and this Vacuum helps to continue with ease that relationship.

Bought this for my elderly mother, and so far we are very happy with it. It works very well, and is just the right size for a small apartment. Our local repair shop said that Hoovers like this one are capable of being repaired if needed, whereas the Shark is impossible to get parts. That made my decision and the price was reasonable.

Love my new vacuum! It is lightweight, easy to carry upstairs and it manuevers well.

The only reason I didn't give five stars is that I haven't owned a full-size vacuum before so I have nothing to compare this model. As a kid, I remember my mom's super noisy and heavy vacuum. I didn't know vacuums were so sleek now. This vacuum is super light, and it's color coded in bright green at all the important spots so even I can figure out how to use it. It has a nice masculine, urban look to it--which I didn't know was possible in a vacuum.

It is easy to use and gets the job done. It's small and light and easy to get in to small areas

This vacuum cleaned up our carpets like no other vacuum ever has. It's lightweight frame is perfect.
