Our last vacuum was a Hoover that lasted 9 years. We were looking at a Dyson and weren't convinced based on the reviews that we wanted to spend the money on it. This Hoover was on sale and we looked at the reviews and based on our prior experience, we decided to buy it. It is easy to clean out and has a high amount of suction. I'm amazed each time how much the vacuum is pulling out of the carpets. It is a light vacuum, in my opinion, and I love the fact that I can turn the beater bar off if needed. I also like the fact that there is a second point of attachment for the hose if I am using only the hose. We've had the vacuum for 2-3 months and have been very pleased. I would certainly recommend this vacuum!

Lightweight and easy to use. The hose mechanism was a little confusing at first, but once we figured it out it's actually more agile than a Dyson. The auction is pretty good. Since it has a roller brush you do occasionally have to clip out all of the hair that collects.

I like this vacuum. It moves smoothly around objects. It is light and easy to store away. It has a very long cord,however it is not retractable. The suction is great, very strong and with the attachments you can reach high or low with little effort.

Hoover is a great product. This vacuum is lightweight very easy to use. Goes up and down the stairs easily.

This vacuum is light weight and has a LOT of suction. I really like the way it swivels, and it fits easily between the legs of dining chairs and bar stools. I'm not particularly happy with having to turn off the vacuum to unhook the hose and place it into another section, and then remove the handle/attachment section when using attachments. It's kind of a pain. It would be better if it had a height adjustment for carpet, or even if it automatically adjusted itself for the carpet height. On thick (dense) carpet, it is hard to push/pull the vacuum.

Finally found a vacuum I like! I have had an Oreck for years and hated that I had to use two vacuums to get the whole room clean. This vacuum has great suction and maneuverability. It is easy to switch over to the accessory mode to clean lamp shades, sofas , baseboards etc. Cleaning the steps is a cinch also. I can't believe that I can park the vacuum at the bottom of the steps and the hose will reach all the way upstairs. The vacuum is not tippy when using the long hose, unlike some other models I have tried. Very happy with my new vacuum!

The swivel feature is almost like the dyson, yet much more economical. Very pleased with the suction power and so happy that it is lightweight which makes it easy to take upstairs. Came with one tool that does it all and sits on the side of the vacuum which keeps it handy. I used it on the sofa and on the blinds and in the corners. Works great!! Puts me in a happy, cleaning mood.
