HAVE ALWAYS PREFER TO USE HOOVER, NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM. IT REALLY CLEANS WELL AND SUCKS UP ALL THE DIRT IN THE HOUSE AND THEN SOME. NOT HEAVY AT ALL, EASY TO MANEUVER AROUND THE HOUSE SMOOTH SURFACE AND CARPETED. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO FRIENDS

The machine is very lite which makes it easy to use. The head is low profile so it is possible to vacuum under furniture such as chairs.it has a long power cord. The dirt collection chamber is easy to empty. The vacuum also picked up a lot of dirt left in the carpet from our old vacuum. It only has two real short comings. It does not have a height adjustment for the head. If you have long shag carpet and hardwood this is not your vacuum. Also you have to detach the vacuum hose from the head to another port to use the wand attachment.

Light weight and very easy to steer and move across the floor. Need to remember to turn on the roller brush when using the vacuum on carpet. The removable hose attachment is very handy for floor boards, furniture, and tight spaces.

I needed something lite weight and more power than a cordless. I was looking to buy a Dyson at the time but the displays units battery was dead. Good thing because I love this vacuum. I have all hardwood with area rugs and I needed something for both. The hardwood area you can see stuff pulled into it but it sucks so good on the carpets that it is actually hard to push. Good job Hoover, can't wait to get the "Air Cordless" soon.

I really enjoy the vacuum and think it is a great buy. Have had it for about a month and vacuum only a few times a week so time will tell. So far it has been all I was looking for and great for my one bed room apartment.

This is my second purchase of this upright vacuum. I now have one for the upstairs of my house and one for downstairs. Love that it is lightweight and steerable.

The vacuum work perfectly, easy to maneuver gets under the bed and the sofa so easily. I am impress every time that I use it, from the amount of dirt it collects.

Was thinking about getting a Dyson or a Shark. Instead the price on this dropped to where I was willing to take a flyer. Glad I did. Works amazing and cleans very well. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I luv how easy it glides across my carpet without much effort. I love how it glides easily under my dining room table and chairs. It also is great to reach in corners with the hose. Not heavy to push around.

This vacuum is flat out awesome! Its lightweight and easily maneuvers into most areas that a traditional upright can't. The only downfall I've found is that the only standard attachment is a small crevace tool. I wish it would have come with a brush attachment for pet hair as many other uprights do now.

This thing sucked up more dirt (and lint?) from my carpets than I realized was there. It made me feel good, but also kind of disgusted knowing that all that nastiness was there. The steering function works surprisingly well and makes maneuvering this vacuum very easy. It's relatively lightweight and I don't find it exceedingly noisy. It's unfortunate that it doesn't include a couple more hose attachments, like a wide pickup head. The suction with the tools attached doesn't seem very strong. Mine has occasionally made somewhat of a higher-pitched "whirring" noise. We'll see if that amounts to anything before the warranty runs out.

The vacuum is great. Easy to use and maneuver. Not noisy and very very effective. Handle works great.

Got this for my birthday from my daughter. I have used a hoover before (at a friend's house) and I really liked it so I was very happy when I got this as apresent. My first inpression was this is so light, which is really nice to carry up and down the stairs. The performance was great too, WAY better than my old vaccum cleaner. Great look, and good price.

All purpose vacuum cleaner for floors and carpet. The price was pretty good for similar features of more expensive brands. It is lightweight and has been reliable.

We have used several other brands but this is the best vacuum we have ever owned or used!! It works well on all floors and is a breeze to clean. We literally live the unit!!!

My wife and I are pleased with this vacuum cleaner not only it works on all surfaces, it is light weight and can easily be carried from one floor to the next.

this vacuum has been great in our travel trailer. it is light weight and takes up little room to store. been a great purchase. easy transfer from carpet to floor.
