It worked well for about a year until the last few months the power button stopped working all the time. Now, it has stopped and only works if being held down.

I HAVE NOT HAD IT THAT LONG AS OF RIGHT IT WORKS GREAT I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE BRUSH SHUT OFF

We have a 2-story house that has both hardwood floors and carpets, as well as two cats and a large dog. We already had a powerful upright vacuum and a very capable canister vacuum, but the Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Vacuum has several advantages over those. Because it is cordless, it can go from room to room without my having to keep unplugging and re-plugging it in or maneuver around a cord. That convenience is accompanied by the convenience of being able to change the setting (from Brush Off, to Carpet, to Multi-Surface) with a quick touch of a button that’s conveniently located on the top of the canister. No more bending down and repositioning a stubborn brush unit. The suction is impressively powerful. I can see it dragging in dust bunnies from all sides, and when it is on the Carpet setting, it does a great job of pulling up animal hair and deep-seated grime. I especially appreciate its power, maneuverability, and light weight for use on our carpeted stairway and the portion of our rugs under our beds. The battery is sufficient to vacuum our entire not-small house on a single charge. The dirt cup is easy to empty, and the filter, separator, and brush roll are, as well. I will never enjoy vacuuming my floors, but the Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Vacuum makes that chore pretty easy. And, because it is compact and isn’t a pain to get out and drag around, I keep it handy and find myself vacuuming things on an as-needed basis, instead of waiting to do the whole house all at once. It’s good addition to our home.

It didnt even last a year. The gray cap on the bottom where you remove to clean out the brissels it broke off.

I like this vacuum! I have had a Hoover Linx for many years that still works great, but this Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet vacuum is even better. I like this vacuum so well that I plan to pass my Linx on to a close friend. The vacuum looks great, and was super easy to assemble. No tools needed for assembly. After unboxing, the handle just presses into the vacuum cleaner base. All you need to do now is charge the battery, then install the battery onto the vacuum. The battery is a powerful 4.0 Ah lithium-ion battery that has a convenient button that illuminate the LED indicator lights that show the battery charge level. Once the battery was fully charged, I was able to vacuum my entire house within 30 minutes without the battery going dead. The vacuum has lots of suction power. My house is a mixture of hardwood floors, ceramic tile, and carpet, and the Evolve Pet vacuum did an excellent job of picking up dirt and dog hair from all of these surfaces. The dirt cup capacity is excellent and is easy to empty. The brush roll is removable and easy to clean. The vacuum is also lightweight, making it easy to maneuver and to carry up/down stairs. I did purchase an extra battery, so that I would have a fully charged battery on standby, if needed, for longer cleaning times. Personally, after owning the Linx cordless and now the Evolve Pet cordless, I can say that Hoover makes one of the better cordless vacuums out there. The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet is an excellent cordless vacuum, and is highly recommended.

The Hoover onepwr evolve Is definitely a good vacuum. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat and a mini pig. This vacuum has no issues picking up the pet hair and other daily items that find their way on our floor. We have hardwood on our downstairs with a few area rugs and runners. The runners is where I had a slight issue with the vacuum, the suction and brush were so powerful that it didn’t allow for a back and forth on the runner. Although you have three different settings, I think a height adjustment on the brush head could be the only big improvement needed. It worked fine on the large are rugs and you can still clean the runners as long as you stand on them and go one direction. Battery life is on par with other cordless vacuums I have owned (about 20-30 minutes depending on what your setting is) but it would be nice to have a bit longer battery life. Cleaning the bin and filter is super easy & the vacuum itself is very light.

First off, this vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. It's small and feels a bit on the fragile side when you use it. How well it will hold up long term is a good question. It has pretty decent suction for a small, battery operated vac and has 3 different settings for your needs. We have wood floors on our main floor, with some rugs. This vac picks up pet hair pretty well off the rugs and does decent on the wood floors. One thing the same with a corded vac is our Pomeranian barks at the cordless vac just the same..lol. So overall, not a bad little vac for light duty. If you have a larger house I don't think I would get this to be your main vac. A very small house or apartment, maybe so. It is nice to grab it and not have to fiddle with a cord. The battery seems to hold up for a decent amount of time and it can be used on other Hoover ONEPWR devices/appliances.
