This does a great job, but has a small tank. If you looking to do a large room you may need to rent one of the machines; otherwise you will be dumping the tank a lot. Does a great job on furniture.

This is a great shampooer. My only complaint would be that after multiple uses it doesn't have the same suction power it did at first and Hoover requires a local repair facility perform maintenance. We only have one facility and they made it worse. However Hoover has offered to replace the unit altogether do that's awesome.

This cleaner has worked great for us. Carpets look clean it's light weight. It just seems like more water goes out than gets picked back up. Still carpets don't feel soaked and dry quick.

Had an older Hoover carpet cleaner and this machine is much better built and cleans very well. Well worth the money. Cleans very well.

Used this the other day, worked good, Just had to fill the water take 3 times to do one room. Perfect for small jobs but will take you prolly 20-30 tanks of water to do entire house.

I have had Hoover steam vacs before and have always loved them. This vac is amazing and cleans wonderfully. The dual brushes are great.

Works well, lightweight. Would like bigger tanks so you don't need to fill/empty so often

I have used this Hoover Pro Cleaner on my carpets and floors. It did a wonderful job in a short amount of time. Very easy to use. I love the squeegee attachment when you are using the machine on your floors. Really helps with sucking up the water into the waste reservoir. Great buy, two thumbs up!

This is the best carpet cleaner I have owned. I have 3 dogs and a cat. This cleaner made my area rugs look new.

Previously had a Bissel, that wore out pretty fast. Great suction and cleaning ability.

Pros - easily disassemble and reassemble, cleans very well. Easy to clean. Cons- loud. Needs to come with more hand tools. Fixed that by ordering some online, if you do make sure it's compatible as some aren't. Look for the connecting plastic clip. Tools are hard to unclip. The spray part on the tools is BEHIND the tool itself. This takes some getting used to as most tools have it at the scrubber or whatever you are using. Overall I'm really happy about this cleaner. The carpets I've cleaned really look and feel wonderful. Since it's heated and steams the carpet, it does not take a long time to dry. Which is a plus for both pets and kids. I'm glad I got this one and not the pet model.. it's made sturdier than the pet one too! You also get a bag that hangs up which holds the tools. The clip on the tools themselves needs to be designed better. I worry that I'll break one. Thankfully replacements on eBay are pretty cheap. There's 2 tools I ordered.. crevasse tip and power scrubber. With the hand tools I do have to focus more on suctioning out the liquid. It's so easy to over spray.

I have two small kids and a very large dog and it cleaned my carpets so they looked new again. Was definitely worth buying.
