We needed a second machine for our weekend property. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, but needed a machine that would still do the job. So far this machine works fine for our needs.

overall did a good job at cleaning carpet and hard floors. as far as getting your hardfloors cleaned it wasted to much water and unit didnt last long due to its plastic moving parts.

This thing worked great on my first use. The problem occurred when I had to dump the first tank of dirty water. The rubber gasket that fits into the lid of the dirty water tank did not want to stay seated in the lid. Due to the angle in the lid it wanted to come out. Don't know if there is a fix or not. Waiting to hear something from the company. If the lid on that tank does not seal you loose suction and the machine will not pick up the water on the carpet correctly. Very frustrating fighting that gasket and time consuming.

Purchased this cleaner on a great sale with high hopes. My first run with this machine was impressive! The water in the dirty tank was black and i could visibly see the difference in the carpet. After the third changing of the water tanks, i noticed it was not sucking up nearly as much dirty water as the previous runs. i had read the reviews about the gasket but i brushed them off as i am pretty handy and knew it had to be their user error. However, i noticed as i was almost finished that the dirty water was leaking as i was lowering the handle at an angle to clean. i took off the dirty water tank to ensure that the gasket was sealing correctly. it was placed on there properly and appeared to seal. However, it did not. When i was finished, i began to clean the machine. I spent as much time cleaning the machine as i did my carpet. Removing the roller to get behind to clean the cover was an absolute fool's errand. After realizing the issue with the gasket and the difficulty cleaning the machine, i decided to return it. I was truly disappointed and if Hoover had just addressed this issue, they wouldn't have so many negative reviews.

Nice cleaner.Would have given it 5 stars , but I had to take the 1st unit I bought back because it had a bad gasket for the dirty water tank. No such problem with the replacement.

Works great for all dog and cat hair spots and the machine is very heavy it has a big motor but a lot of power and the price is good

This is an excellent carpet cleaner! It does works better on carpets then on hard floors. It leaves a little water behind on the hard floors.

I got this for a large area of garage floor that gets lots of traffic. You would be amazed how much dirt it picks up. The squeegee attachment worked great.

It is so easy to work and it cleans like a pro! The only thing that I can complain about is the rubber around the seal came lose, but I was able to fix it with no problem!

I love this vacuum, however the attachments fall off while vacuuming. We had to have ours replaced after a year due to the floor but staying up, couldn't vacuum with it up. I would compare it to a dyson.

This is one of the best products i have used in this category. I had used Bissell before but nothing near this one which has a clear demarcations of Used Water , Fresh Water and a separate placeholder for pouring solution. Cleaning is also very easy and this product overall is very effective.

Love this machine. The only question I had was where's the fill line for soap & water. It was not marked but I figured it out. I am glad I bought it.

Bought this in a rush! Our pet had a serious illness over night! Next morning was a disaster. We purchased this carpet cleaner and put it to use. Results we're amazing! Carpet looks brand new! I cannot say enough good things. Easy to use for beginners, simple to store and would recommend it!

This is a great upgrade from our last cleaner, cleans our carpets superubly and effiecently, my only problem with this machine is how hard it is to install the extended handheld couch cleaner.. nothing a little bit of cooking oil on the seal can fix, overall this is a great cleaner!

My in-laws have one and my husband liked using it so much at their house that we decided to get one for ourselves. I've paid professional carpet cleaners for years, but this does a really good job. It dried in less than a day, which was similar in time to when we've had professionals.

Does a very good job on the carpet. I haven't tried the couch yet but it's coming. My only complaint is that it makes a whistling noise that can be irritating
