The Water Reservoir blocks your view of the front of the machine. It doesn't seem all that powerful either but did a well enough job. I would go with something a little better next time. I had a Bissel ProHeat II but it quit working and was pretty hard on carpet fiber, it pulled fiber up all the time, so it is not a gentle machine, very aggressive on carpet fiber.

I have owned other Hoover cleaners and loved them but I am about ready to return this one. When it runs it does a good job.
