Feels like it's built to last. For general upkeep this would be acceptable but not good for deep cleaning.Didn’t clean as well as my friend's BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet. Kinda on the extra loud side. I did like the big tanks though and the parts are easy to clean. It didn’t meet my satisfaction so i took it back an got the Hoover SmartWash Automatic Carpet Cleaner.

Very very disappointed! Was missing the screws that hold the handle on the cleaner, no big deal I have screws around the house. I filled the tank and installed it on the cleaner and water immediately leaking out of the back of the cleaner just above the recovery tank. I decided to use the cleaner anyway and the recovery tank only holds about half of what the clean water/soap tank. Upon opening the box I was initially impressed with some of the new features that have been added, but ultimately those features proved to be a let down. I owned an older model Hoover carpet cleaner for years with no issue. I had to replace the old one because I loaned it to my neighbor and they lost a piece that can not be replaced. So I had no reservations about ordering a new Hoover carpet cleaner. I really regret that decision now. I may have to switch to Bissel!

Sadly I will return this one, the power is not good enough if you have a dirty carpet Besides that you have to plug the hose every time to wash manually

I was a little skeptical of purchasing this steam vac. But the online reviews were helpful. Iv always rented rug doctors in the past. But this little Hoover worked just as well if not better. It got up and cleaned the pesky pet stains fairly easily. When I pretreated with the Hoover pet foam. And used the Hoover brand pet formula for the steam vac. It also dried the carpet in half the time. It's light and easy on your back. Very good suction. I was pretty impressed overall! Great price and buy!

Works fine for small rooms. Takes a lot of water and solution refills, so be prepared to stop and start numerous times.

This carpet clean did a ok job at cleaning my guestroom carpet. I had to do some areas by hand.

Leave carpet too wet it took a couple days for my carpet to dry.

Had to refill tank multiple times to do a small room. Returned it.

I like my carpet cleaner , but it is very heavy and hurts my right shoulder all the way down to my hand .

Look good, but had a really small container for water that why you have to refill several times that get to be tired

It does a good job cleaning the carpets but I feel like it could be better. The carpets dont look as clean as I thought they would have.

It works ok for the price. Really didn’t find anything special about it. It does a mediocre job for me.

I was a little concerned about this model because on some other sites it has mixed reviews due to suction. But, I bought it and am very happy with it. I've used it twice now with the hoover professional stain remover and it has removed ALL stains, including pet stains from my carpet! My 9 year old carpet looks nice and clean. Also, it has good suction and in fact my carpets were mostly dry by night time which is faster than when I had my carpet professionally cleaned. Very light and easy to push around.

It gets the job done.. It cleans but it still can't pickup those urine stains

The power switch does not operate properly. It takes several attempts to get it to power on. Frustrating.
