I took this item home, loaded it up, fired it off and DONE . . . It ran for about two minutes before it shut off as if unplugged. Took it back and had to order another. Was supposed to get it the next week but got a back order e-mail instead. That's been a month ago. Still waiting. Hello? Can someone help me?

Normally I don't post reviews but this cleaner is so fantastic I just have to! First off let me say I saved a ton of cleaner by having the rinse option. With previous cleaners I would have to go over the same area multiple number of times to get all the gunk up all the while using the water\cleaner premixed in the fill tank. By taking a tip I saw in another review I used just plain water first with the rinse option to wet the rug. Using plain water alone I pulled up a ton of dirt and other unsavory stuff from the pets that I have. I then switched it to wash and that got even more yucky stuff out and I could literally smell the odors disappearing as I was cleaning. Then it was back to rinse to get the soap residue out which I really liked as to how I know that there were no chemicals left behind. One thing I did find useful while rinsing was to do a forward and backward pass with the trigger pushed down and then a forward pass with the trigger and then dry pass backwards without releasing any water. This method seemed to do better at getting the soap out then using water on all strokes. The carpet drys incredibly fast too with this cleaner. With previous cleaners I would have to make multiple dry passes to get most of the water sucked up and even after several there would still be water being pulled out of the carpet . After just one dry pass there was very little water being pulled up and rarely did I need a second pass. the carpet was even initially dry enough that I could kneel down on it to use the hose attachment to get to a hard to reach crevice without my knees even getting damp. I very much like the easy dump feature on the dirty water basin. I was so used to having take the whole lid off and have dirty water dribble every where that at first I did the same thing with this cleaner. Then I noticed the easy pour spot and it was wonderful. I was even able to get more water dumped out using that. Cleaning the machine is a breeze. The front is very easy to get off following the instructions and the brushes snap out very easily and are very easy to clean as well as to they all come apart individually. Putting it back together is just as easy too if not easier. There are also a ton of attachments included and nifty bag with a hanger to place them in along with the hose. My only complaint is that I wish the tanks were bigger to hold more water but hey, I'm not gonna complain considering how light it is and how this cleaner did a better job of cleaning my carpet then any previous one I have owned in the past. Does an even better job then rug doctors which I have rented before. I would had knocked off a half a star for the tanks not holding more water but they are average one gallon size for Hoover. Overall this cleaner deserves 5 stars. The fact that I got it on sale is even better.

Not easy to use. Takes lot of time to clean one spot. Need to go over the spot for many times.

It worked for about a year. During that time it was used 4 or 5 times. I went to use it thie afternoon and it made a loud grinding sound followed by smoke from the motor. It appears to be toast. My $225 went up in smoke. :-(

I only had the cleaner for a month and it has already broken on me. The brush stop spinning and just spray water, ended up damaging my carpet thinking it was clean it. Left me with brown water stains

Went it works it does a great job but motor died after 4 users

I used to have another model which is more expensive and it works. This one just doesn’t, it makes everything wet but all the stains remained. We used the same solution and everything but this one just don’t work.

worked good for about a year, then slowly went downhill from there, water leaks first then suction leaks.

La compre en diciembre del 2020 y la he usado solo 4 veces en un tapete y dos recamaras funciono muy bien, pero ahora que la vuelvo a usar para lavar la alfombra de otra recamara, a la mitad de estar lavando la alfombra dejo de funcionar el cepillo rotatorio y pues ya no lava bien.

This is more like a wet vacuum cleaner than a carpet cleaner. We had to do many passes to get the carpet looking even halfway decent. A lot of using extensions and scrubbing on hands and knees. Not worth it.

I bought this steam cleaner took it out off the box to put it together and I put it right back in to return it it is poorly made I don't like how if you want to use the attachments you have to go get the hose and attach it cause it's not built on it I wouldn't recommend this

I have a few pets, and they are seniors so you can only imagine.... I bought this when one of my cats had developed bladder crystals recently to keep the carpets clean as I can't stand a smelly home, and obviously you typically find out about bladder issues after accidents occur outside of the box. I definitely cleans well, especially considering it doesn't have an extra heating element. The tools are nice, and come in a handy hanging bag. You can get the job done for upholstery (which I also had to do) and tight areas (experienced this as well). The tanks are easy to remove and maneuver, and you can clean it very easily. My home doesn't stink... and anyone with cats can say it's no easy feat to get rid of a smell... its lightweight and easy to maneuver as well. Would definitely recommend for any home.

I bought it and the second i got home and put it together it was broken. returned it 2 days later. its very cheaply made and i would recommend spending the extra 80 dollars for a better one!

I have not had a chance yet to use it; however, the Salesmem was very helpful to help me make my decision to purchase

I went the cheap route and I got a shampooer that work only one week tried to get a more expensive one

Not really worth it. After 3 useless it stopped sucking water

Broke about 4 months after we got it. Had only used it 3 times.

It's an ok machine. Probably would not purchase it again.

Biught it march 2021. Loved it at 1st but i use once sometimes 2x a month because i have 2 toddlers & today dec 2nd 2021 it started making a grinding noise & letting off a burning smell. Sad it didnt even last 8 months

wife liked it the first time she used it. the second time it wasnt picking up the water very well. it has a snap on the front for the hose attachment that leaks air so it has less suction. we will be returning it
