It works good. It does clean the carpet ok. Easy to use. It sucks up the water really good, almost dry. Easy to use and easy to clean. It does leak from somewhere. But other than that it's a good machine.

I purchased this last week & today was the first day I tested it's capability. It works wonders ! I have a 3year old who decided to spill a whole bottle of syrup all over her carpet. 20 minutes with my Hoover & her room looks like we just moved in ! Will be recommending to my friends and family

After 15 years, I had to replace my Hoover carpet cleaner. I chose the FH50150 Power Scrub, because it received the best reviews. Yes, it does a fabulous job of cleaning. I even saw nap moving that I didn't see before. Hoover has greatly improved on the tanks. They seat much more securely and easily. And, hooray, you can now open up the dirty water tank and clean it. And it is a lot less heavy and more easily handled. However, I am puzzled at the flimsy handle when the old one was so sturdy. And all the settings were on the handle right where you can see them. Now you have to move to the front of the machine. Why two stars? After fifteen years of having to place a towel under the scrubber brushes before I turned off the old Hoover (because it would leak all over the floor), I was so looking forward to Hoover's fix for this problem. I was seriously disappointed! Leaks just as much if not more. Will I keep it? Yes. I will put up with the towel routine because the other high rated cleaners are too heavy.

Works really well for about four years. Make sure you purchase the warranty.

If you have kids and or pets you need one of these Hoover SteamVacs. They last the longest of any brand and are so easy to use. The tanks are easy to fill empty and clean. The upholstery tool is a life saver for small spills and cleaning your inside furniture and also your car carpet and seats.

I did my homework and was almost ready to pull the trigger and buy a Bissell. I read on this site, and Amazon, that this Hoover was the one to get and bought it at my Best Buy store. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, and another 5 to read the book. Separate tanks are excellent, and it's nice that the unit mixes the water and solution by itself. Instead of having to precisely measure as it simply mixes as it goes. The unit was easy to use due to being so lightweight, and easy to clean when finished (Hoover designed the unit to easily disassemble and reassemble, using easy latches). Lots of dirt came out of my carpets (surprisingly!), I give this one 5 stars!

My carpet was heavily stained thanks to our puppy. The Hoover power scrub exceeded my expectations! It's light weight, easy to use and did a great job. My carpet is like new.

I have had two other deep cleaners from another brand and this is by far much better. I don't have an issue with the smaller holding tank for clean water as it allows me to put new hot water in for better performance. This machine suctions great and practically leaves the carpet dry so it doesn't take long before I can move furniture back.

This model is very easy to use, and easy to empty. I don't have a lot of carpet, but I needed something to clean up the occasional mess left by my dogs. This machine leaves the carpets spotless, and only slightly damp when finished. The carpet is typically completely dry in a couple of hours. According to some of the reviews, if you intend to use this often, the Geek Squad Protection might be a wise investment, due to the plastic drive. I purchased this cleaner, and the protection, just in case. It has performed splendidly for me for over six months now.

I am really proud of my purchase! I am the type to do my research before buying an item, and this lives up to all expectations! The Power Scrub does a great job cleaning! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy an affordable cleaner! It is easier to use, and does a better job than the rentals you can get at a local store!

Before seeing this product, I was thinking of renting carpet cleaner from local Meijer store, but looking at good reviews of this product, I thought of giving it a try and it is really worth every penny I spent. Cleaning results are awesome. Carpet dries out fast. The only negative is small water tanks which is very small negative factor in comparison to all positive factors.

This carpet cleaner is perfect if you have pets. The spin tech on this carpet cleaner really does wonders. As far as durability goes, I've had this product for over a year and no issues have come up.

I purchased this after reading the reviews and watching the video. The video actually sold me on it when I saw how easy it was. I was getting ready to hire a profession carpet cleaner but decided to purchase this instead. It did just as good of a cleaning if not better. I have 2 large dogs and am very pleased with how my carpets came out.

I'm not usually impressed with a vacuum per se, but this deep cleaner can clean! It picked up 2 stains on my carpet that I didn't think would come out. It handled them without a problem. I would recommend this Hoover to anyone. Very easy to put together also. Instructions are clear and easy to get going after a few minutes.

I have bought my own carpet cleaner before and so has a lot of my friends and family and they have always broke within a year of purchasing. This one on the other hand is great. It hasn't lost suction and nothing has broke and I've had it for two years now. Cleans super well and had all the accessories to clean upholstery. I think this is by far the best carpet cleaner for the money

After renting a carpeted home for a year, I broke down and bought this machine. I own dogs, and renting a machine every 4-6mos was a pain. I bought the Hoover, and WOW! I have had mine for almost a year now, and it is fantastic. I vacuum with my Dyson, then clean the carpet. If you don't vacuum right before cleaning, it still does a great job, but sucks up pet hair, etc. It does have a small water chamber, but I'm okay with frequent filling of clean water &/emptying of the waste water. The cord is long enough for my use, too. I will say that I believe the BRAND of cleaning fluid makes a HUGE difference. My favorites are Hoover Platinum, Bissell, and Rug Doctor, and with 6 dogs & light carpet, I have tried them all. Buy this machine and a premium cleaning fluid, and you won't regret it.

I purchased this scrubber recently. It really did a great job on cleaning my carpet. The only draw back is clean water tank way to small. I have a medium size living room and had to fill the clean water tank five times before the room was done. To bad the company does not fix this it would get a five star rating if tank was bigger.

This product works great! It is a bit of a timely process but with or without the cleaning solution I've seen amazing results in my carpets upon the first use. I am very happy with my machine and would recommend it to anyone looking for something that is affordable and light-weight.

I really just needed something for the heavy traffic paths in my house. It works great, great machine and vey simple to use. It really does do a great job and it has passed my expectations. Being a mom, help with dirty floors is a great advantage especially if you have rug! great product!

For the price, I thought it would do an average job. Oh no, it exceeded my expectations! Everything worked perfectly. Easy to load and clean. Tank isn't huge, so plan on several water runs. Completely worth it though. Fantastic job!
