I have had the previous model of this cleaner and it lasted a good many years, until it finally stopped working last year. I definitely feel I got my money's worth out of it. In reviewing current offerings, this model still has good reviews, so I purchased again and have been happy. There have been a few minor updates from my previous version, including a much improved way to empty the dirty water. It still cleans well, and for the price, you are getting about as good a value as you can get. Sure, you can find better ones, but you will also spend a lot more. I only have a couple complaints. First, the rotating brushes still have very little power. Many times when operating, these hardly move. I noticed this with the previous model... even to the point where they often never rotated. And, I am very particular about cleaning everything after each use. It is just a matter that even relatively minor friction will cause these brushes to slow and sometimes stop. But, it still does seem to clean the carpet well... but I often wonder if there was a little better power here that it would do an even better job. The second issue is that I also like how it was advertised as having a 2 year warranty. However, when I got home, I noticed the box was stamped as "1 year warranty". I emailed the company who did reply and confirm it is a 2 year warranty. As you might imagine, I kept that email in case I ever run into issues during the 2 YEARS. Not sure why the box is labelled that way. Overall, I continue to be happy with this cleaner for a home use carpet cleaner. Again, know what you are getting... a consumer model (not a commercial model)... but you are also paying a much lower price than any commercial model. If you want perfect results, go for something better... but for most homes, this should work just fine. If I get the same multiple years out of this I will be very happy.

We used the cleaner as soon as we got it and it worked great. It did a good job cleaning our old carpets.

Cleaner does a good job. It runs out of water pretty fast. So it will take a few runs for ten by ten room

This carpet cleaner was easy to set up and easy to use. And it works! I had to use it to clean some older carpets in my rental home because my landlords wanted to replace it with tile, but we wanted carpet in the bedrooms. So we bought this to clean them ourselves. Did the trick!

System does a good job cleaning carpet, but could soak up more water. I also like the separate tank for the cleaning fluid.

So far so good! I have done downstairs and it turned out great and a couple time for dog pi$$,and got it all up. Just fyi make sure you use low foam cleaner or it foams from everywhere. Only complaint is the cord could be longer and if you leave water in tank it will leak a little. Just empty clean and dirty water when you're done...

I brought this this machine based on the reviews and so I love it. It cleans my carpet really good.

Machine works well and is easy to use the upholstery and stair tools work well also. Only down side is filling the water tank very often.

I like the fact it comes apart relatively easy for cleaning and the soap and water tanks are separate.

This carpet cleaner is powerful and effective for its size. It sucked up years of dust and dirt embedded in my apartment wall-to-wall carpet. It cleaned 99% of a hideously dirty entryway rug in one go. I've only had time to clean a small section of my place but have no doubt it will do the rest of the job beautifully. It was easy to assemble. Once you get the hang of it, the job went quickly. It gets a little noisy. Make sure to do the dry run a couple of times so that your carpet will dry in a few hours. I missed a spot, but even that dried overnight. It will drip a bit after use so just set it on a boot tray until it's done. It didn't use as much solution as expected. Finally, although the solution that came with the machine was not labelled fragrance-free, I didn't smell anything. It didn't set off my severe allergies. Highly recommend!

I bought the machine about a month ago and have only used it once. It did a very good job and cleaned the carpet very well.

Love the dual containers one for detergent and on for water carpet doesn't get too soapy rinses great no soap residue left on carpet. My carpets look brand new absolutely love and recommend this product great price! Reviewed every one on the market I made the right choice.

I have always used the Hoover brand for carpet cleaners and always happy with the products. Easy to use. Good value. Cleans very well too. I highly recommend to friends and family.

Does exactly what it's intended for. Used it two months ago and haven't had to use it since. Stains have stayed away.

I was looking for a good wet vacuum that I can use to clean heavy traffic areas because my old one decided to stop spraying water. I looked up reviews and found a carpet cleaning company that recommended this one as well. I bought it and have used it a couple times now and it's been great!! It leaves the carpets so clean looking and they don't feel as wet after cleaning like with other machines. It's a great buy! Well worth the money!

We bought this after our dog started having too many accidents. I was pleasantly surprised how easy this cleaner was to use, and what a good job it did. The carpet came up nice and clean, and the carpet was dry enough to walk on in a couple of hours. Well worth the investment!
