Got ride of an OLD Bissell model that was just a tank and too short wand which made cleaning the carpet a back breaking job. This model is fairly quiet, easy to use, and did a great job without breaking my back. Just wish I could move around more easily with a longer cord when doing large rooms.

Set up is easy. I was able to use this for my carpet and sofa without ang problems. Its is quite heavy though but overall the performance is amazing!

Works great! I have white carpet that was basically gray From all the foot traffic going through the house. I had Previously bought a Bissel carpet cleaner that just made the carpet even worse than it was. Well the carpet is white again and the spin brushes work great. Not sure if they need replaced? I did not see any replacement Brushes at the store. The heater on the rinse cycle really dries the carpet well. You can feel the warm carpet as you are using it. All the attachments work great too, Definitely a great machine at a reasonable price.

Used this one for years. Cleans any stain we’ve ever had. It has two tanks one for shampoo and one for the wate. Which is amazing because you do not gave to waste shampoo or time by rinsing out the tank to rinse the shampoo out of the carpet. The Hoover has a switch for wash and rinse time saving and money saving for the shampoo. Tried a bissell and returned it immediately. Did not take the stain out and it only has one tank for the shampoo and the water to mix. Huge waste of time and money both when cleaning small areas.

This Hoover carpet cleaner is easy to use and gets the job done well. I followed one reviewer's advice--to rinse the carpet first, then shampoo, then finish with another rinse. Carpets looked great and was quite satisfied with my purchase!

We bought this cleaner because we have 2 dogs and 2 cats in our home. My wife recently discovered that sitting on the living room floor was causing some allergies to flare up. We used this to clean the entire family area and it did a great job! Her allergies have lessened. We also have a puppy that is house training, and the spot cleaner attachment has saved us from a lot of scrubbing when there is an accident!

Does very work in cleaning low to med high carpet which is all that I have.

Used it for car interior. Cleaned months old coffee stains. No problems so far.

I did have the living room carpet to see the difference after it dried. I definitely seen the difference in the half not cleaned and the half I cleaned with this Hoover carpet cleaner. A few more rounds ( now on both sides) will make my carpet look new again. I love the hand tool as well to just take care of smaller areas, a bit bulky for just to use for spot cleaning but it’s meant to be more of a full carpet cleaner. Always excited ( and disgusted) to see when I dump the dirty tank for how much dirt I was able to get up.... it’s the little things now in adulthood.

This carpet cleaner works well. This is the 2nd one that I have had and am happy with it!

FYI....I don't normally write reviews, but they helped me come to my decision. I read all the reviews before I bought this item. At first I'm like the reviews are too good to be true, but then I realized how many people had positive reviews across the board. Long story short they were right this carpet cleaner is WONDERFUL. It looks cheap when you get it, but once you use it, you will be more than pleased you bought it. Besides how great the cleaner is, I couldn't believe all the added tools it came with for the price. Long story short great carpet cleaner at a great price. I would pay close to the same thing for a similar rental, but now I own one myself and I can use it all the time. I rented one from a big box store one time and I gotta say this machine is far better.

Pay the same $150 you'd give to professionals only you'd have the machine that keeps giving back. Follow the directions, make sure the water HOT make multiple passes be reasonable in your expectations and you'll be satisfied with this little beast of a machine.

Moved to a new place and wanted to ensure the carpets are kept clean. Although the place is brand new, you would be surprised how dirty your carpet is. Used a couple of times since I bought it and does the job pretty well. It does a bit heavy though. The accessories allow for detailed cleaning, corners, upholstery, etc. Hoover has cleaning products for different purposes and I purchased it on Amazon. It comes with a small bottle so you can get your first clean, but it is probably good for 1 or 2 bedrooms only. Bought at Black Friday deal, so it was pretty affordable, certainly worthwhile vs hiring professional carpet cleaning if you are up for the task.

This was easy to use, and easy to take apart for clean-up. Took a bit of time to clean the brushes that popped off easily for cleaning, but it cleaned up like new. Much easier than the older models and did a very effective job of cleaning 3 carpeted rooms.

The cleaner did what I expected, was easy to use, and overall seems like a quality product. It's lighter than the last one we purchased some 5 years or so ago.
