In my opinion it's get the serface dirt out but the stains in the carpet stay.

Great rug cleaner. Works just like it supposed to. Definitely a must if you have carpeting in your house.

MY Hoover - Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Upright Deep Cleaner is awesome when it works but it's not real durable. I use this a lot and after a while it begins to fall apart or burn out. My suggestion is to get the warranty it's worth it.

Works great. It's really just like any other basic carpet shampooer. Even though it's newer it doesn't seem different from the one I had 10 years ago.

I love this carpet and upholstery cleaner. I can watch it sacking up the disgusting colored water and soap residue and know it's working and feel relieved knowing it's getting CLEAN! love it. Highly recommended

My carpet will never sparkle since we have kids and dogs, but this carpet cleaner got the worst stains out, lightened it significantly, and most importantly it doesn't smell like dog butt in our living room anymore.

Great for price. Handles ok. A bit too wet at sides you have to protect surrounding floor. It would be great if carpet was not so wet in the end. Otherwise good to have. Pretreating bad areas is a good idea.

Fast and efficient and easy, does a great job. 2 Belgian Sheperds pups and still training and this unit does it all in short easy working time. Paid for itself as we had Pro Clean the carpets and this found dirt he sure didn't get.

Did the research on this and other cleaners and also I have had a Hoover carpet cleaner before. So the reviews said this one is one of the best for the price. It works pretty good maybe not as good as my old one did but close

Took a while to get used to. Only negative is you can only do a small area until you have to fill the reservoirs again. Did a good job on actually cleaning the carpet. Would recommend
