If you follow the instructions and not soak the carpet, it does exactly what it says it will do. I had always cleaned my own carpets then decided to hire it done. 2 different name brand companies with 2 different methods completely ruined my new carpets. I will never hire anyone to do this job again. I am SO happy I found Hoover!
