Assembly was super easy and it was nice to look at. But as soon as I started using it, two things were very noticeable: 1) This carpet cleaner is LOUD. Very loud. 2) It promptly dumped a half gallon of solution all over my house.

Hoover tried to correct the mistake however they sent the same clean water container which wasn't the problem. They were very accommodating. I'm a Senior so it may be best to order another.

Leaks and needs a lot of time to clean. You pretty much need to disassemble/unscrew the whole front of the vacuum to clean completely.

However on the 6th use it came on but then immediately died and it will not turn back on. According to the troubleshooting guide this problem requires the unit to go to a service location. The closest location to me is about 45 miles away, so 90 mile round trip to drop it off. Another 90 mile trip to pick it up, plus whatever service/repair cost, I would be better off just purchasing a new one...... Bummer because while it look's nice, its not really what I'm looking for home décor wise.

Cheaply made, broke after 3 uses

Tried to use it today, was working fine and then it started making a weird noise and smelled like something was burning. I checked the belt, belt was perfect. Cleaned it all out and tried again, weird noise and awful smell - it's obviously the motor or something. Very disappointed.

It leaves streaks on carpet and then gathers wet carpet lint and leaves it all over the floor. Not worth the money. Only had it about 6 months and already needing to replace it.
