Hoover - PowerDash Corded Upright Deep Cleaner - White/Blue

Q: I bought the Hoover Power Dash Pet carpet shampooer. It will not suck up water at all. It sprays out the cleaner but the container for dirty water stays empty.

A: I had this same problem…kept cleaning out the roller and front yet the dirty water tank remained empty. What I was missing was the little red filter under the dirty water tank right on the machine!!! I admit I felt silly that I didn’t see this even though there’s a clear label telling you to clean it! Fixed my problem in two seconds!

Q: does this shampooer have a clean water and a dirty water tubs?

A: I’m not sure if you’re asking about the separation of the water, but there is a bottle near the handle that holds the clean water and solution and the dirty water goes into another container underneath the handle and you can easily go under certain things without hurting your back because it bends to go under without anything stopping it. The shampooer is fantastic in my view.

Q: Is this carpet clean good for large carpet area?

A: It will do as large an area as you want but you will have to refill the clean tank and dump the dirty tank frequently. This is outweighed by the lightness of the product in my case.

Q: How do you clean the bristle roller after use

A: Hi, Thanks for your question regarding the PowerDash Pet Upright Deep Cleaner! To clean the brush roll, we ask you first to turn off and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Next, flip the cleaner on its side to expose the bottom of the cleaner. Then remove the belt covers, use a Philips screwdriver to remove the 6 screws. After that is completed, remove the belt cover from the unit. Then, pull the brushroll toward yourself and remove it from the unit. Finally, rinse the brushroll and allow it to dry.
