Great for pet clean ups highly recommend this product

This handheld carpet cleaner has many pros to it that make it well worth the price. I was very excited about this handheld option because our household still uses our 20 year old upright Hoover carpet shampooer and it still works as good as the day we bought it, but for smaller jobs such as spot stains, stairs, and vehicles, it was always a pain to lug around the big machine. I was ecstatic when I realized I could use something from the same brand that was a fourth of the size and weight of the old upright. When I first opened the PowerDash, the compact size had me extremely impressed. I also loved that there was a great power cord storage spot, as well as attachment hose storage spot. I only wish there was a clip or storage area for the nozzle/extra attachments. This handheld cleaner is excellent for smaller spot stains, as well as stairs because it is so compact, lightweight, and has a fairly long power cord. An added bonus is that I found this unit to be fairly quiet compared to other vacuums. I was also happy with the suction power of this unit, I was worried that its smaller size would mean weak suction but it was enough to get dirt, stains, and water out. I also used this to shampoo all the seats and carpeting in my vehicle and it worked very well. I had rust stains in the carpet that I was able to get up. And the amount of dirt and small debris in the water everytime I dumped it out was alarming. While using this cleaner in my car I saw a couple improvements that could be made to make this product easier and more versatile. The solution tank is extremely small. Again for small spots or stairs, it would be fine. Doing an entire vehicle had me refilling the tank with hot water roughly 8-12 times. I also realized it would be great if the hose was a little bit longer. In a smaller sedan it may not be an issue, but for SUVs and trucks the hose just felt too short, even when having the unit in the vehicle with me. I also noticed at some points there was soapy water leaking and blowing out of the back of the unit where the motor vents from. The unit was on a flat surface and the tank was not even half full yet so I am unsure of the cause, but at one point I unplugged the unit and let it sit and dry out for a while as I was worried about any components getting wet that should not be. I was also disappointed with the sprayer function, everytime I pressed the trigger, it would start out in a nice broadcast pattern (identical to the pattern the handheld hose nozzle on our 20 year old Hoover), but within no more than a second or two, the stream would die down to just a piddle and it did not distribute the water evenly at all and it made the job take longer. Not between this issue, and the water spraying out of the vent issue, I wondered if I may have gotten a defective product but aside from those issues the unit worked well. Overall, as I said this would be excellent for a household with pets or children where spots and stains on upholstery is inevitable. The small size but strong suction power makes it perfect for tasks like that.

Does not lift cleaning at all. Still have it because it was too late to return. Also VERY VERY Small tank.

It seemed to clean okay, but the tubing is so short that the machine often tipped over while I was trying to use it. Then I'd have to clean up the dirty water. Ug! I wouldn't recommend this machine.

I'm impressed with how well this little carpet cleaner works! The initial setup was a little confusing because I've never used a cleaner that didn't require adding water to a tank. But, all you have to do with this cleaner is add the cleaning solution to the reservoir. From there I cleaned several stains on my carpet, including the vinegar solution from a spilled fly trap that had been there for months. Everything came up with just a couple of minutes of minor effort! The carpet looks like new! The only thing to really be aware of is that the attachment for cleaning is only about 4 inches wide, so you're not going to want to clean a whole carpet with this little thing, but it is really great for small messes.

The PowerDash GO Handheld Deep Cleaner from Hoover is a handy little compact spot cleaner. I especially like the long cord and holders built in to wrap it and the hose around the unit. The only thing better would be a cordless model. I was able to clean some spots on the carpet on our stairs really well. It could have more suction to pick up more of the solution, though, so the carpet is less wet. I also don’t know if you can buy the concentrated solution and mix it yourself since there is only a solution tank and no water tank so the unit can mix it for you. The water pickup reservoir, though, is easy to open and empty out and also easy to clean. The attachments for carpet and upholstery work well. The carpet attachment has a stiff brush that really removes gunk from the carpet. The unit is really easy to carry around as well. Overall a handy machine.

Suction wasn’t powerful at all spill coffee in my truck and it didn’t clean up anything

This product does not have great suction. Not worth the money.

Wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this. Most carpet cleaners use a clean water reservoir but this does not. It uses the solution and suction...nothing more. With that said, it appears to work pretty well. Used it to clean up a pet accident and the mess was gone after a few passes. It’s very simple to use, light weight, powerful, and compact for easy storage. It also comes with 2 different brushes one for carpet and one for upholstery. So far it’s been good and will update again.

Not quite what I was expecting. I had hoped to use it to clean furniture upholstery such as couches & chairs but it's kind of small and apparently designed more for spot cleaning which it does pretty well. If you want to clean larger areas you should consider a bigger or full size unit. Works well for smaller areas on carpet, furniture, or car interiors. Gets rid of odors and leaves a fresh scent. Recommends using only Hoover's premixed cleaning fluids, no water to mix. If that's what you're looking for it's a good pick.

This tool is more trouble than it's worth. Regret the purchase and would not recommend this item to anyone who actually wanted to clean anything. It has extremely limited capacity and tips over constantly which makes it very awkward to use. Does not clean well.

Stopped working do not buy and i bought the insurance but doesnt show on my account

Broke within a few minutes of use. This item continues to leak when not in use but turned on.

Does not do what it said it would did not clean my sofa

This little carpet cleaner actually works! It's super simple to use and came with a small bottle of solution to work out some stains. The suction is great and I could see the dirty solution in the tank after cleaning. I had a stain on my carpet that I was told wouldn't come out. Well, it's out, without a ton of work either. Spray the solution, scrub and vacuum it up. It's that simple! This is a nice little spot cleaner and I know it will come in handy. I'm glad I have it. My only suggestion is to buy more solution, the small bottle it comes with can be used up quickly.

The worst cleaner I have ever worked with and it leaks

Comes well packaged, our package had damage to the shipping box, and I assumed the POWERDASH GO would be damaged. Due to the packaging by Hoover the POWERDASH GO was not damaged. Has a 14-foot power cord. Has a 5-foot suction/cleaning hose. Two (2) cleaning attachments, one (1) is a bristle type brush, and the other is rubber brush with small fingers. The eight (8) oz cleaning fluid container is easy to remove from the main unit, and to replace once you add your cleaning fluid. The large cap on the cleaning fluid container makes it easy to fill, empty, and clean. The cleaning fluid spray head is located behind the hose suction head. The spray head did not dispense the cleaning fluid in a uniform pattern. Easy to remove and clean the dirty water tank. Hoover SPOT CLEANER (PAWS & CLAWS) is an excellent cleaner for use with the POWERDASH GO. I found it will remove most stains very nicely. I cleaned an exceptionally large dog pad and spot cleaned areas on our futon. The POWERDASH GO, with Hoover SPOT CLEANER (PAWS & CLAWS) did a great job. I found cleaning the POWERDASH GO has one challenge. Simple: Empty any remaining cleaning fluid from the cleaner fluid dispenser, back into the original container, rinse it out. I left ours out to dry, then replaced the cap, and returned it to the port on the POWERDASH GO. Simple: Remove the hand tool and attachment, and rinse under the faucet. Not so Simple: The hose is a little more inconvenient to clean. You must remove three (3) Philips head screws, located on the bottom of the main unit, to detach the hose for cleaning. I prefer a quick release to attach/de-attach the hose to the POWERDASH GO. Remember that this is for cleaning your rugs and furniture and if you are using it for what it was designed for, you will find this small cleaner very handy.

I used this on a couch and also on a stubborn stain I had on a area rug in my dining room. I have to say it was absolutely impressive with it's cleaning power. Not to mention the sheer portability of this unit is perfect. No bulky unit to drag around. Fill it up and you are on your way. Set up was very easy and clean up is as equally effortless. This is of course not ideal for whole house carpet cleaning, but for smaller areas and furniture, you can't go wrong.
