The Hoover Powerdash Go is a handy, small and easy to operate cleaning machine for stain and spot removal. It's recommended for carpets, furniture, car seat upholstery and floors--just about anything where a spill or a pet can mess things up for you. It is a simple device, with the idea being you want to spray a cleaning solution down, scrub a little, and then suck up what's left into the dirty water reservoir. Great idea and works pretty well--but. The nozzle that releases the stain cleaning solution sprays it out like an assumption that the working area is about 8" wide. So if you're working on a spot the size of a quarter you're forced to waste quite a bit of solution. I would rather have the solution aimed more precisely at the target. A second minor issue--the directions indicate that you need to angle the front edge of the cleaning tool down and press while dragging it back and forth over the stain to suck up the dirty solution. In reality, some of the fluid is being drawn up as you scrub at the stain with the tool anyway. So I found that if you powered off the unit and then scrubbed, and wait a minute to draw the dirty fluid back up, it worked better. I realize that the Powerdash Go can also be ulitilized as a little "wet vac" for pulling drink spills (or other liquids, I won't go there) out of carpet. It's really easy to rinse or clean out the water reservoir in the sink afterwards. There is a little filter basket also that is meant to be cleaned. Very easy. It worked pretty well to remove some food stains from the carpet. Looking forward to cleaning my truck seats with it. If you've got little kids and/or pets that frequently make you grab for the carpet cleaner this would come in very handy. Just have plenty of cleaning solution on hand.

Unit setup and use was easy, instructions were spot on. the results were excellent especially for so portable a unit. Cleaning after use and unit storage was also aided by the smaller size. We found that we could finally manage stairwells and smaller areas without all of the hassle of a full unit, and performance was great!

This is much smaller than I thought it would be, however that's a good thing. This is easy to use, and cleans surfaces nicely. I don't recommend you try to use this on extremely hard stains but it's great for most cases. Cars, hallway stairs, etc.

I think it will depend on what someone wants to use this deep cleaner for that will determine how well they will like it. If they want it for bigger jobs, this is probably the wrong cleaner to use. However, if what they are looking for is a really good spot cleaner, this works great. I always hated the idea of pulling out the big shampooer just to clean a small spot yet cleaning it by hand had its own problems. They've now been solved. We've had two stains that have been driving me nuts. One from a puppy accident and the other from a sick grandchild. I couldn't get them out by hand so was resigned to live with them until I got the big boy out. They are gone now, both of them. The Hoover worked great on both and I now have a stain free carpet. Given the mobility of the cleaner, this should work well for cleaning the carpet and seats of my car as well. My only complaint is that the cleaning reservoir is small and I wish it was a bit bigger so that there wasn't a need to refill it when doing a bigger stain. Otherwise, I'm happy with this cleaner.

Very portable, very easy to use, just spray the cleaning solution, brush a few times with the built-in brush and suck up the dirty solution and you have clean carpet. Very convenient but I wish it has powered brush.

Along with the Hoover solution, this little thing got some stains out from previous homeowner. It was easy to add the solution and get to work — this will be handy to have around! I would deduct a half star if I could for it not having a place on the side to clip on the tools. It would store a little more compactly if this was the case. However, it’s easy to use and easy to clean up when you’re done, so this is a good gadget to have around for clumsy people like me. :)

This was perfect for getting some stains out of our couch. It came with a small sample of solution so I was able to use it right out of the box. All I had to do was still the container with the solution, spray, scrub and vacuum it out. I had to repeat the process a couple times due to the stain but it did come out. I like that it is small so I can clean it easily and store it away until I need it again.

The hose is so short you have to constantly hold the machine because there is no leeway. The soap container is so small it runs out every five minutes and the vacuum only works half of the time. Don’t waste your money.
