I bought this from a recommendation as a "Best Buy" from Consumers Reports. For the price, it is a very good product. The suction is very strong. When using the hose attachment, it does have a tendency to tip. But that is the only drawback I can find. Only our bedrooms are carpeted, so for my needs, it is perfect.

Being a woman, I like the bright blue color of the machine. It is light weight, another plus. The cord is not as long as the Hoover we had previously so I miss that. I'm sure it will serve our purposes. The question is how long it will hold up? We did recommend the vacuum to a friend and she bought one.

This vac works great overall, and is a great value. Does everything a vac should do. Only minor complaint is that the attachment hose is kind of short, which causes the whole vacuum to tip over if you are not careful while using the attachments. I just get around that by tipping it over before starting with the hose.

I read the reviews before going to the store to see if this was the sweeper for me. All mentioned they were pleased with the suction and I agree! I was astounded at how well it picked up. My last sweeper was a DirtDevil and I hadn't realized how poorly it was working until I got this one. Some mentioned that the motor was noisy but I didn't find that to be a problem. It ran quiter than my DirtDevil. VERY PLEASED with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone!

Just wanted to envourage any buyers to get this nice vacuum cleaner. You'll get nothing as powerful and well-performing for this price. Actually, it is so powerful that the power cord was sucked accidentally and it was destroyed! Had to cut it and replace the plug. Fortunately, there was still enough cord length from were it was torn. So you can see it is not great quality in terms of materials, but it really is a nice buy for the price!! VERY RECOMMENDABLE!

Even though this vacuum is very powerful it is too clunky for a lot of hard to reach places and corners in a typical apartment. It is too powerful for area rugs and it destroys the fibers of some woven area rugs. The vacuum does not fit under the bed without using the flimsy accersories. The main part stopped working after 2 months and I still haven't figured out out to fix it. I am glad that I bought this vacuum on super sale so I don't mind buying a new vacuum and learning my lesson on canister versus upright for apartments. I would recommed this vacuum for large places with a lot of carpet since it does an excellent job suctioning dust and dirt.

This is a great vacuum for the money. It's certainly not going to last forever, but it works great. The only complaint that I have is the cord is not long enough. The on board tools are great, the suction is great, and the price was great!

This vacuum was recommended by consumer reports and it hasn't dissapointed me. It does a great job cleaning the carpet. This vacuum works as well or better than more high prices vacuums. Great for the price!

Cleans up everthing in its path, including dry cat vomit with no visible stain left behind on carpet. Attachments easy to use & store on vacuum without coming loose. My parents have 20 year old version of this Hoover still works great, but it's much louder.

This vacuum was in consumer reports and I can not believe how good it cleans. It out does all my other vacuums. The only one that is better than this is the Hoover Wind Tunnel and I have owned them all. WHAT A BARGAIN!!!

We returned the bissell pet lovers pet hair remover vacuum and bought this one instead. NOt only did we save $60 but we now have a vacuum that actually vacuums things up and leaves a nice clean vacuum look in the carpet. I'm so happy. Can't wait to vacuum tomorrow! :)

i bought this vacuum to replace a bagless upright, and i'll never go back to bagless...too messy! this vacuum was highly recommended by the salesman at the store and i couldn't be happier! the widepath really does make cleaning quicker, the suction really picks up, i do wish it had a longer hose though.

I have had several low to mid range vacuums over the past 5 years. This blows them all out of the water. Very powerful and the cheapest one out there. I purchased this one because of the reviews of Consumer Reports and it exceeded expectations.

I was surprise how well this vacuum worked. It cleaned carpet and hard floor surface very well, and was fairly quiet and easy to operate.

Had this vacuum for 2 years now, works great. Never had a problem. Amazing suction. All for a low low price!

This is an amazing vacuum-Especially for the price! It was so easy to put together and has so much power that it drags me along behind it! Would be great for folks with back problems as you don't have to push it along. We have had it for about a month and as I vacuum about 3 times a day I have used it ALOT and am 100% pleased with my purchase. Although I have heard that vacuums with the bagless WindTunnel technology provides better suction than their bag counterparts, the idea of seeing all the crud I vacuum up makes me feel ill, so I have never considered buying one. Besides, I am not one to invest a small fortune in cleaning equipment. This is the perfect vacuum for us for a great price! It is a little loud and the hose is pretty short but it is very flexible so that's not a big deal.

I was amazed at how quickly and easily I could vacuum with the wide path. The attachments work well and it picks up dust, paper, or larger bits from both carpet and hard surfaces. It does require assembly, which is always a little bit frustrating, but I was able to get it together in about ten minutes. The placement of the cord for storage is awkward because it crosses over the hose attachment and bulges, but it is not a real problem, only a slight annoyance when putting the vacuum away.

this was a replacement for an old electrolux it would have take $350 to fix..and after a $100 purchase of another "check rated as a best buy" Hoover (don't bother...rubber belt broke on first use.) Solid and well made with great suction and stair accessory, but it's a nuisance not to have all the attachments fitted to the console so you can switch them easily as you move from room to room and floor to carpet

The Hoover vacuum works well. It has all the attachments that are needed to clean not only my floors but my blinds, ceiling fan and other non-floor items. It is, however, a little bit clunky with all the attachments on board. It doesn't feel just lightweight, it feels cheap. But as long as it lasts (I have only had it about a month) and works well, I'll be happy with it. It is replacing a Hoover that lasted 23 years and still ran fine so I definitely trust the brand.
