||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read so many reviews on vacuum's i didn't realize this one didn't have a retractable cord, which makes it easier than having to wrap your cord after each use. I didn't care for the fact when you're vacuuming and need to go over throw rugs, etc that you have to literally lift this product up. It doesn't just glide over the area's. For some reason it doesn't stay in a somewhat locked position in order to glide over??? Otherwise it does it's job for the price paid. I will be looking for another vacuum soon.

Ok cheap vaccuum

Posted .Hi! If your cleaner is shutting off there may be a minor clog or dirty filter causing this. Remove the dirt cup from the cleaner. Push up on the gray latch in front of the dirt cup ;id that has the Hoover emblem in the center. You will see a foam filter. Check both sides of filter. If dirty, run under warm running water until clean then sit on it's side for 24hrs hours or until dry. Next, remove both ends of hose off cleaner. Run a broom handle through hose to knock out any possible clogs. Hope this helps!

Posted .Hi there! This vacuum does come with a height adjust for longer carpets. It is possible that the belt may have stretched, which it will do instead of causing stress to the motor. Hope this helps!
