We had purchased a protection plan on this product (as we do with most items now). Best Buy was able to replace our original purchase with the same exact product. Like the ease of use with this vacuum.

The only complaint is that the hose for the extension tools is incredibly stiff. You must put weight on the base of the vacuum to extend the hose. If not, the tension will pull it over immediately...

I took home two, then brought back the one I didn't like as much. But is was a hard choice, I liked both of them, so I went with the cheaper one... I have been very happy with my Hoover!
