I owned one of these prior to this one. The last one I purchased was 10 months ago. And then the beater bar motor died. I thought it was just a belt but they have motors now. Glad I purchased extended warranty on the old one. Best Buy replaced it! Best Buy is the only place to buy small and large appliances!

We hardly have any carpet in our house but do have rugs so didn't want to spend a ton as we mostly use the Dyson stick on the hardwoods but needed to replace a vacuum that broke. We could not believe how much dirt (gross) this got up on our first pass on our rug in the main living space. So far it's been great!

I was shocked at the amount of dirt this Hoover removed from my carpets. Great product after I learned to operate it. Lol
