It works great on the carpet. My one gripe is that the on/off switch is halfway down the handle. So it is not convenient turning it on or off. Also, I feel the cord gets caught under the vacuum a lot. I do LIKE the retractable cord!

Light and easy

Just pull off canister, dump and replace. Light weight and easy to handle. Nice variety of attachments. Looks sharp. If I could change one thing, it would be the on/off switch. It's placed low on back. I think it would be more convenient if higher up.

Great vacuum!

The buttons and switches are ergonomically placed, and it’s not extremely loud. My cats still hate it.

Good vacuum for the price’

It’s helpful that is lighter than most. Also, Love the retractable cord -once you have had one, you will never want to go back to the old way. This is my 2nd Hoover w/in 10years.
