This is a great vacuum. It is one model up from our previous model. Mainly got it because our dog sheds a lot. This vacuum does a great job picking up all the hair. We haven't used all the attachments. I would like a longer hose while cleaning the steps. Overall, I recommen this vacuum.

Pros - good suction, long cord. Cons - Difficult to navigate, cord easily tangles, heavier than similar upright vacuums I have had, does not have standard brush uphosterly attachnent, the rotating brush attachment screeches when in use, dirt cansiter does not properly empy. One must pull the dirt /pet hair out,. In additon, canister cap does not swivel far enough back for dirt to drop off.

It’s kind of heavy to carry and hard to push but I do like it I like that the cord is not retractable and very long

Purchased this vacuum after my Bissel broke. I was generally happy with the Bissel, outside from the few times I had to deal with it stalling out, but Hoover is my preferred brand of choice for vacuums. I am so happy with this purchase. It's able to keep up with my vacuuming needs. I have four pets and kids and thick carpet that traps dirt and grime. This Hoover does an amazing job getting my floors clean.

Needed a new vacuum asap. Looked online and found this gem. Works great, price was awesome.

It is so simple to use, even my elderly mother could figure it out. The switch to use the hose or regular vacuum has big letter and makes it easy for her to read without glasses. There is a release button under the tank empty it, which is so convenient . The turbo vac attachment for the hose works great for the car floor. So happy with my purchase

This is just as powerful as my Dyson, I use it for my downstairs where my long hair dog spends most of the time. It really works great

The vacuum works great. Great suction. Great clean. It's not heavy, but it is not a lightweight vacuum.

Thus far I am very pleased with the performance of this vacuum cleaner. The suction is nice and strong. The only issues I have with it is that it can be a bit resistant to maneuver when making turns and as with all non retracting cord units, keeping the cord out of the way while in use is hectic. Otherwise I am very happy with the unit.

Bought the vacuum because it was on sale and I love it. Easy to use ,the suction is great and it cleans very well...both carpet and floor.

The suction is so good, I had to raise the carpet height adjustment! I had a self propelled Hoover before this one that is 20+ years old that finally gave out. I gave this one four stars because getting used to pushing one around again on the carpet has been a minor challenge. I tried it on my bare floor (with brush turned off) and it seemed to pick up everything.

This thing works great, no problems with all the dog fur on the carpet. Easy to use and easy to empty.

We have two cats and a dog....all shed. My wife had been complaining that our existing vacuum required too many trips across the floor to get the hair. The suction on this vacuum is incredible. We have to elevate the carpet level setting a little (reducing suction) to allow her to push is across the floor. Even the upholstery attachment has great suction and quickly cleans the furniture. Definitely a must have with shedding pets.

This vacuum does a great job of cleaning our carpet. We previously had a Dyson and this definitely cleans as well as that. It is, however, much heavier and harder to maneuver. That's the only downside. If you are old or have a shoulder problem you shouldn't choose this vac without trying it first.
