It does have good suction but seems to be very cheaply made. There are some connections that are just not going to last long. They are just too flimsily. The attachments are a joke. Sorry Hoover, but not your best work. Glad that I didn't get rid of the old vacuum. Between the two I should be able to get the job done. (3 stars for suction)

Has a solid feel to it. Picks up dirt & dust on both floor and carpet. Handles well, easy to use

Bought this for our son. It was recommended by Consumer Reports. Best Buy willingly did a price match. Son is very happy. Just got a dog so this should be a tremendous help

We have used Hoover Vacuums for years and decided it was time for an upgrade. This was an excellent choice. It is powerful and is serving us well.

Had the previous version of this vac and let me tell you this one is much more powerful then the previous one. Gets the job done. Only complaint is it does not come with retractable cord.

We have had a few Hoovers over the years this has to be one of the best ones we have had. The suction is much better than previous models.

Moves on any surface nicely once you have the height set right. Nice and quiet as compared to other vaccums and really doea a good job getting deep into thick rugs.

Our old Hoover wind tunnel, which we had for about 8 years had a problem with the brush. We got this new Hoover and it is easier we push, picks up better and over all I think it is a lot better than the old one.

Just need to attach the handle out of the box, put the attachments on the back,and it's ready to go. Replacing an older version, so I'm confident this one will be just as good.

This vacuum weighs 5 lbs less than my old one so 18 lbs isn't a big deal. The canister fills up with debris faster because it is smaller than the old one. This is good for me because I will develop the habit of emptying it after each use. It also opens up more fully so I can clean it completely. Mostly it is getting used to the differences (Unlocking the hose rather than pulling it out. Turning the selector from floor to hose.) Time will tell. Ask me to write a review in a year and the feedback may be different. My last vacuum lasted for 10 years. A tough act to follow.

Pretty good product for the $99 sale price. The extra long cord lets us plug in the living room and from there we can do bedrooms on each end of the house. That is convenience.

This model has great suction power. I need to be careful while using it on area rugs. The power will suction up the area rug and ruin it. Works great on picking up pet hair.

I had a Hoover wind tunnel for 20 years and it still worked well, but the filters were no longer available. It worked so well I wanted another. This one is even better! It really does the job!

Value priced compared to the vast selection of other similar units. Keeps power even under load. Very pleased with this purchase

This is a great vacuum cleaner. It has incredible suction, and having the additional tools, such as a crevice tool, on board is convenient. It does take time to find the right suction level for each of our carpets, but once discovered, it does a great job.

Works very well. First day I got it I spilled a full glass of water on my carpet, it was able to suction up the water with no problems. It is not meant to do that but it worked incredibly well and has worked perfectly since I bought it.

Excellent Vacuum machine, Powerful and sucks almost everything in its way. Broad base and house Vacuum is completed faster. Worth buying this good product.

Great vacuum for both wood and carpeted floors. Works very well without needing to replace a bag. A little noisey but works well.

I had a Shark and When I went back to BB to get the same one, they weren’t selling it anymore. Looked at this one since I needed something right then. I think it might be better then the shark I had and I LOVED it.
