works great for the price range of this unit. separate attachments for cleaning auto carpet and furniture upholstery

My old Hoover was the self-propelled Windtunnel which was of better quality than this version. The one drawback is not being able to comfortably lift the vacuum say from floor to higher carpet or another area. I could easily do this with my previous model by simply using the handle on the dirt container. Not so with this new model. Doing so completely disengages the dirt container. This model is definitely not conducive to easily being carried to another location. Seems to do a good job otherwise. Got a great deal on it. Otherwise, would have returned. Additionally, it is not easy to navigate across carpet unless you raise the level to match your carpet height. My carpet pile is low but the low setting is very hard to navigate across the floor. Therefore, I'm having to use the more comfortable high setting and I'm not sure if carpet is really getting clean.

This Hoover upright vacuum worked great for me. It handled the large, neglected, medium pile, carpet in my new apartment very well. I just kept vacuuming and emptying the "Dirt Cup". It was real easy to detach, dump, and replace. No bags required! No swivel was no problem for me. It just kept pulling "dirt" out of my carpet time after time and I kept popping the dirt cup door release and dumping it in the trash. Brilliant!

This vacuum works great. It has great suction. The only thing that I would like would be a larger capacity for the dust cup.

This unit will definitely give you a workout. It is difficult to vacuum with, but it does have great suction.

We have a Cavalier King Charles and he sheds so much. This vacuum is great for this. It does not clog and it’s so easy to empty. I’m so glad I decided to get it.

While it does its job it should be noted that this is a fairly heavy product and even pushing it over the floor (tiles and carpet) is quite a heavy task. That being said, if you are not the youngest any more you might want to consider something else.

I like this vacuum a lot but wish it had a few more attachments but it get the job done with little to no effort.

Look no further for a super-performance vacuum as it does the job 100%.

i have two dogs and with the hot weather they shed a lot.This vacuum handles pet hair very well.

I like this vacuum...But it is a little heavy. There is a foot button for changing carpets heights.

This vacuum sucks, which would be bad if that wasnt its purpose. Its a great vacuum.

I have huskys and this vacuum is amazing for getting all of their hair. Holds up well. But I would recommend getting the extended warranty no matter what.

Hoover makes a great line of products. The vacuum cleaner performs in an excellent manner with great results.

I love how this newer model has a switch for the floor or hose. Before the suction came from just the hose.

I would rate this vacuum excellent if it did a better job vacuuming edges. It only does okay in that aspect. I had a Hoover Wind Tunnel purchased in 1997 that did an excellent job in all phases including edges. It had little rubber brushes at each edge the kicked out the dirt etc. from the baseboard and vacuumed them right up. This model does an excellent job otherwise.

I like this product a lot It is very easy to use and extremely effective
