I'm not sure that the 40' cord is really the best thing because it seems to unravel even if you don't need the full length. Also, I haven't found a way for all of the attachments to be stored on the machine itself.

I am only taking 1 star off because my old model had auto power cord retraction and this one doesn't.

Couple things I don't like 1 it doesn't have the retractable cord, 2. has a switch you have to turn use the hose, 3. little tough to push around. With that said I would buy it again just a couple things I would like to see in the next model.

My son vacuums his room & hallway. That is all he does when it comes to chores on vacuuming. But he loves it better than the previous. And all the attachments stay in place.

The newer vacuums which I purchased two in the last two months, have a beater bar but when they break the vacuum is worthless it doesn’t work at all. This Hoover is definitely when I would purchase again. I love this vacuum!

The extended hoses are pretty neat too. Cleaning the trash tube is pretty easy and painless. The only downside is that it has numerous extensions without a storage pouch.
