Best. thing. I. bought. in. a. long. time.....!!!!

This vacuum survived a year of moderate to heavy use. For the price I'd expect a longer life span. The motor died.

The belt broke with the first use so I was disappointed. We got a new one on there and haven’t had issues.

Hard to move around with the cord all over the place. The canaster models are better and a retractable cord would be great.

Average vacuum, works ok for not spending a ton. But definitely doesn’t work as well as my previous Dyson.

Worked for less than a year and it's already time to replace. spend the extra money and buy a Dyson!!

Only had used the unit a couple of times then it just stopped working. Switched to a dyson and haven’t had any issues with it.

I’m not someone who usually writes reviews for products unless I’m extremely disappointed. But today (after one year) of owning Hoover’s wind tunnel 3 I was moved to write a rave review of this product.... and after a year of use I myself am shocked that I’m still this impressed with this vacuum! Let me start by saying that I have 3 large dogs. One of which is a German Shepard who sheds heavily once a year...for 365 days! I also have a 2 story house and vacuuming the stairs has long been my most dreaded chore. This vacuum changed all of that! 1. The suction is incredible! Seriously this vacuum does not loose suction I’m always shocked to see how full the canister is. 2. It’s bagless. I LOVE the canister on this vacuum! As a multi pet home we vacuum A LOT! Not having to worry about bags is huge and this vacuums canister is a decent size. It can hold a lot of dog hair. 3. It has a really really long cord; which makes vacuuming multiple rooms and even my dreaded stairs a piece of cake. 4. It has great attachments. Along with the long cord this vacuum boasts a long vacuum hose with a rolling hand vacuum attachment and a long pipe attachment with a tapered end that makes it easy to get into corners, cracks, high and hard to reach places. 5. I love how easy it is to switch between the floor vacuum setting and the hose. All you gave to do is pull out the hose and turn the wheel on the side of the vacuum. It’s simple. It’s easy. It’s perfect. Lastly I think this vacuum will last. I had actually owned Hoover’s original wind tunnel vacuum previously. I had that vacuum for 10 years and it actually never stopped working. The only reason I ultimately replaced it is because I had a credit from a Best Buy purchase that did not work out (seriously invest in Best Buy’s warranty’s! You will not regret it. They are really awesome about replacing products that break or just don’t meet your expectations... worth every penny!) I had bought a stick vacuum/ steam mop that I ended up not caring for and returned. After which my husband suggested that we get Hoover’s new model because I had recently vacuumed up a tooth pick and it had created a small puncture in the hose attachment. It still worked but the suction was slightly affected. If I HAD to report one complaint it’s that this vacuum does not have an auto cord recoil.... I know... poor me I gave to roll up the cord manually. Lol I’m short, I’ve used other (more expensive) vacuums but this one beats them all.

Powerful, but not enough. Too heavy, attachments are not as effective.

Vacuum is a bit tedious to switch from hose and base, and does not feel as sturdy as previous model.

I like the convenience of the long, extended power cord. It would be nice if the power cord was retractable. The vacuum cleaner does take some effort to maneuver around the carpet. When you want to use the hose (for attachments), you have to change the dial located on the lower part of the vacuum. The attachments are more of an inconvenience. Maybe I have a defective product, the extension attachment will not stay extended regardless of which way it is turned. The brush is flimsy, making it difficult to use w/out it flipping backwards. The more narrow tipped attachment is a piece of short plastic. The handheld rolling brush is ok when it isn't interrupted and stops. Hoover used to make a great vacuum cleaner. I'm not sure why the quality and ease of use has become more cumbersome. Maybe Hoover should consider finding different product testers. More specifically, I am volunteering..please let me know the requirements to support. I don't recommend this vacuum cleaner for anyone. The attachments are frustrating bc the extra effort required to use them. Hoover dropped the ball. The one star is simply bc the long, extended power chord.

Its not worth the price too heavy and leaves small peaces behind

I was missing two attachments. Settings are different and takes time to get used to. Until I’m comfortable I can’t fully recommend.

The good news is the vacuum works very well. Bad is the handle broke after 3 uses. Have to take it back and have it replaced.

It works pretty well. It was very hard to put together.

I do not like the fact that there is not a retractable cord. Also it doesn't seem to be a very good quality.
