Opened put together and hose at base has a retainer built into it but doesn't engage. Read other reviews same issues. Boxed up and returned cant say as to how it worked no time for poor quality.

The box was 1/2 open and looked like it had been run over by a truck. I expected better packaging! I did not return it bc it was too much of a hassle! Glass everywhere!

I was not impressed at all! Suction wasn't as strong as our old one. Plus, the accessories attached to unit fell off easily during operation. We ended up returning this unit.

Then if u change the dial to a different setting then not enough suction so didn't pick up. Had to take it back.

Did not the fact we had to pay for a pet cleaner attachment that we would not use. That should be optional. Also it was very hard to vacumm and push over carpet and also hardwood floors. Would not recommend it. '

If you are experiencing issues with suction, here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. – OR – We recommend checking to see if your filter is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove any debris. While you have the filter removed rinse it with water until the water runs clear, allow dry time (24-36 hours). If the listed troubleshoot does not correct the issue, please contact us directly at HooverCommunity@ttifloorcare.com with reference to this review and model number. Thank you!

Incredible Suction!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This vacuum has incredible suction. You literally can see the carpet lifting up off the pad underneath. It does a great job on carpets with smashed down fibers. We had been using a cheap 80 dollar vacuum that we thought was doing a good job. This vacuum pull so much more out of the carpet. It was disturbing to see how much are other vacuum wasn't picking up. I gave four stars as I do have some gripes. Its loud! It really is a very noisy vacuum. Its a pain in the butt to take apart to clean. And some of the attachments don't fit in their holder good. And they fall off when your vacuuming. The 40 foot cord is really nice as I can do my whole house on one plug. But naturally its a pain to have to wind the 40 foot cord up. Overall I really like this vacuum. It does a great job cleaning the carpet. But some small things seem overlooked for nearly a 200 dollar vacuum.

I used to have this dog, his name was Insulin because he had diabetes. The original owner worked at krispy kreme and would feed him donuts everyday; but that's not important, you all want to know about how Insulin died to this vacuum. When I got Insulin, he was stuffed to the brim with donuts, so I was vacuuming off all the glaze from his fur. Long story short the original owner took all the stuffing out of Insulin and replaced it with Donuts, and the donuts were rotten. So I vacuumed out the inside of this plush, realized I didn't have any stuffing to refill it, so I threw him in the trash. I'll miss you Insulin :c
