This is the best vacuum i have tried in the past few years. Tremendous value and non compromising suction for all floors and carpets. I've tried the dyson v10, and the v8 and returned both. I also tried a bissell pet and that was absolutely the worst vacuum I have ever used. After returning the bissell I decided to try what my parents always bought and guess what. It actually worked. I have three different types of carpets and one of them is a really thick shag carpet and it worked great on that too. The best part is that you can switch it to floor and clean up around the carpets afterward. Highly recommend and if its like the last one my family had it should last 10 plus years.

Awesome vacuum for the price , until it died after a couple years

Powerful vac but it’s heavy and a little difficult to maneuver.

My previous bagged Hoover upright, finally broke for good. I always like the suction power of it, but the quality was garbage. I have never wanted a bagless upright, but needed a vac in a hurry, so we bought this one. I have had it a month and can't stand it. 1st off, the brush adapter does not stay on when you vac, so it is in the closet. The height adjustment knob is a huge pain in the ... to adjust, i don't know how an older person would turn this. To use the suction hose, you have to turn a dial, what?? Finally, I don't know how anyone can have a bag less vaccu m. Unless you empty it outside, half of the dust goes back in the air when you dump it. Then, whoever puts stuff in the trash after you empty it, expels all of that dust from the trash, into the air. I know others like these type of cleaners, but I am not a fan. The sad thing is I can't return it, so I have to learn to love it. :(

This has great suction, it cleaned fine. With a cat and a cockatiel, and both wood floors and carpet, it's great to be able to stop the roller bar. It is versatile. But for the first time in over 30 years of buying vacuums, we threw a perfectly fine vacuum in the garbage after just 1 year. I'm 5'10", my husband is 6'. We are both reasonably strong, but this thing is ridiculously difficult to push. It's heavy and has no assistance to push it. I feel stronngly about throwing appliances in the trash, we only have 1 planet, but this thing is horrible. We have had Hoovers over the years, but if 2 tall strong adults can't push this on carpet, the company should be ashamed. It was so bad we didn't even give it away.

Excellent vacuum put my Kirby to shame the only thing I didn’t like it’s a little messy emptying out the cartridge, but definitely does pick up dog and cat hair! Can’t go wrong for the price. I would have gave it a five star,but since it’s messy I dropped it down to four, but is definitely more convenient than Kirby that you have to switch out the attachment to go from the floor to the hose

We have a cat and a German Shepherd, so hair was an issue. This is a great vacuum, especially for this price. Performs like those that are double the price. In fact, when it arrived, we vacuumed the floors with our Oreck (recently serviced and new bag) and followed with the Hoover. We had to empty the debris trap three times! Only drawback is the wand attachment isn't secured well, so it flops around. I used a small bungee attached to the handle and it is locked up tight. Wife is happy.....I'm happy!

This vacuum is awesome! I am a teacher and on a limited budget. I couldn't spend a fortune on a vacuum but wanted a good quality model. I read lots of reviews and decided on the Windtunnel 3 High Performance. I am very happy with the results. I live near the coast and have sandy soil. I was amazed at the amount of dust, dirt, and soil it pulled from my carpet. It made my carpets feel so much softer. I don't have pets, so I can't speak for that part but I'm sure it works wonders on removing pet hair.

Love this powerful vacuum. It has great suction that makes cleaning a breeze. It has an indicator that will tell you when it is time to empty it out or clean the filter. I especially like the filter because I no longer have to wear a mask when cleaning. No more allergies acting up!

Purchased from BestBuy in Atascocita about a year ago. Threw it out last week. Was still running but was tired of having to adust the floor level setting every time I went from tile to hardwood floors. I do alot of vacuuming using the attachments and always have to remember to switch from floor to hose setting or the hose has no suction. Same for floors. If you don't switch back to floors-no suction. Very heavy. If you don't get the floor suction level just right the vacuum sticks to the floor. Had started making loud shrieking noise when turned off on floor setting. Did good cleaning job but too complicated and heavy. Finally got tired of messing with it plus it sounded like it was about to break down. Still am a Hoover vacuum person but this one was terribly designed. Hard to clean out. Used a bagged vacuum to clean it out. Shame on you Hoover!

I have had several vacuums in my life time and I have to say this vacuum has been the best,I have pets and this vacuum is so awesome on picking up pet hair!

Best of the windtunnels for pets and big rooms. I have been very happy with this vacuum! I bought a second for the basement office.

I will most likely be returning this to the store. I am disappointed that this more expensive model does not include the rubberized tools or retractable cord feature. These were the 2 main features that I liked about the other models but this one advertised more suction and the salesperson said that it had essentially the same features with a longer warranty and a longer cord so I paid the extra only to get it home and not have the main feature that I wanted the retractable cord. Hoover and Best Buy messed up on this one....

very good vacuum and easy to use with great suction

It is average at best. It is heavy and awkward. Pet hair clogs it very fast. Replaced with a shark that does a much better job.

Had awesome suction. The only level that would work was #5. The lowest level, #1, was poor for my hardwood floors. The other levels were extremely hard to push on my thick carpets. The on/off button is extremely small and was difficult for me to operate. The bottom of the dust bin was warm to the touch when I emptied it. This vacuum is extremely loud. My dogs would run and hide when I used it. I bought a SHARK.

Purchased the Wind Tunnel 3 High Performance Pet Bagless to replace my old bag Hoover Wind Tunnel. This does great on rugs as long as you have the floor setting to a lower number and use the beater brush (which is not recommended for 2 of my rugs). Without the beater brush, it does nothing. Terrible on hard wood floors, the dog hair just hangs on the brush and I have to pick it off and put in trash. And when emptying the container, do it outside and be prepared to take a shower afterwards. Dust goes everywhere, all of the pet hair and dust does not come out until you beat on the container or reach into it to pull the stuff out. Wish I had realized Best Buy had such a short window for returns. This would have gone back.....now it's 2 months old and headed to Goodwill. And now I have to go back with my old vacuum to get everything that this new one missed..........
