Got this to replace our yucky small vacuum and have been quite surprised with the results. Went with this after reading several retouched. A bit big but well worth the price!

We had a Dyson for years, but it had an "automatic" carpet height feature. With thick carpet, it would not work. This machine has carpet height adjustment, and some nice features like an automatic cord return.

Having the 12 Amp motor is nice for the pet hair but you really notice the quality difference between this and the Dyson. Still, who wants to pay Dyson prices for that much more (little) of a difference in performance and quality?

With a long hair dog, allergies and asthma this unit pick up like none I have had. Primary filter is easy to wash. HEPA is replaceable only and is so new it is not yet available even on the Hoover web site. Pick up dirt my old vacuum never even knew existed.

I really like the suction of this vacuum and the way the cord retracks. the add ons are simple and easy to use. the worst thing about the vacuum is its bulky and does not fit under furniture very well.

I have a pet named Len. Len is very messy. A lot of times he drips and leaks. But this vacuum does a good job of cleaning up after him. Some tissues and my Hoover is all I need! Would definitely recommend for messy Pet owners.

It's nice. We got our first one from Walmart and was told that Walmart uses cheap parts and not to buy anything from there. I like what we got now and would recommend this product if you have a dog.

I purchase this for my daughter and her husband. They love it so much, that they took all the attachments out and tried it. I wish I would have purchase one for my house. Waiting to catch that great sale again.

It's ok for someone who needs one. However I've noticed that I've had to go back and sweep again because dirt comes out from the back

Oh, I am soooo happy with this vacuum!! I have both a dog and cat and it really picks up all their hair, my carpets look new and also works on the floors so great. Like I said, I have been waiting all of my life for a vacuum that could really pick up!!

This is the second time I have purchased this vacuum, or should I say I have upgraded after 5 years of the older model? Either way good machine, and very reliable. Would recommend.

I only have an area rug and hard wood floors. My dog gets on the furniture. The pet hair gets cleaned up where ever it is. I got a great price on Black Friday. So excellent value for me. Love the retractable cord.

I like the many features on this vacuum, being able to go from my carpets to hardwoods is a bonus! Cleaning it out is easy. My only wish is that the handle would fold down for storage purposes.

I've been needing a new vaccum and this did the job. I got it on sale during Black Friday which made this purchase even better. I am able to vaccum my floors and attach the nozzle to also clean my couches.

I don't know why it isn't automatic, but for our vacuum, the only way that it picks up dust and dirt is if you press the trigger for the brushes to work. This has caused problems in our first apartment as it started to rip up the carpet and we had to be extra careful at that point. And we don't even own any pets. It just has an issue with that. Otherwise, compared to other vacuums I've had, it's great. I'm writing this review after 3 years of owning it. One of the first upgrades my wife and I made after getting married.

If you’re looking for something for a little pet hair and you only clean once a week this might be a good choice. I figured because this is advertised for pet owners that it was heavy duty. However this has broken four times, luckily I had the warranty. The suction broke three times and then the cord retraction just stopped working. I’m so glad I had th warranty, I was able to put my money towards a different vacuum.

I just vacuumed my house a week prior to using this vacuum and the amount of dust that was picked up by this Hoover was amazing! Love it so far.

At first I wasn't pleased with the feel of the vacuum meaning the handle . It felt kind of cheap because my old Hoover had a solid handle . Not really an issue because this vacuum cleans like no other . Love !

This was a replacement from the best buy warranty. We love that program and have used it many times, well worth the money. Brought the old vac in they just gave us a new one. Vac was easy to setup and worked great, would recommend

First time pet owner. I own a Retriever mix lab the sheds a tone. This was worth the price. Picks up great and 2 years later it still picks up wonderfully.
