Carpet is easy too but don't think I would use this one if I had mostly carpet. Love the long wand to reach high places and under furniture hooking it up can be confusing at first but I got it now. The only bad is that occasionally dirt doesn't make it to the chamber and gets stuck at the top, which is hard to clean.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it was a good price, so bought this instead of dirt devil and dyson air. not worth at all, as it isn't portable and too heavy. half the mechanism it has are just for show. doesn't suck to much of dust. won't buy hoover again. bought the warranty as these are known to break down quickly and filters don't last too long. have to clean the filters often, so waste of time and energy. also don't clean well in corners either.

We are sorry about your performance issues. We can help, though. On bare floors, please remember to shut off the brush, and make sure it's on while vacuuming carpet. The filter is rinsable, so it should last several years. If you rinse under warm water and let it dry 24 hours, it should work almost like new. The HEPA filter may need to be changed after a year depending on usage. You can order more on our website. If there is a mechanism you don't think is working right, please email [email protected].
