I just picked up this Vac from the BB store today and wanted to write a review right away. I got this Vac at best Buy on sale, but it's worth every bit of the regular price. I had already vacuumed my carped with my old Vac, and could not believe how much more dirt this Vac picked up. This Vac is amazing at how well it cleaned my carped and floors. I like the auto brush height feature, and how simple it is to use with/without the attachment. I also like the fact that I can turn the brush motor off, it has it's own on/off button.....separate from the Vac on/off button. The dirt container comes off easy for quick emptying. I only wish it as bigger as I wouldn't have to dump the dirt out so often. But that's not enough to over rule all the other plus's this Vac has. In fact I would'nt judge that as a knock on this Vac, only an inconvience. Everything worked as advertised and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I had read the reviews here before I decided on this one, and I agree with all the high marks on this Vac. I give this product 5 stars...would give 6 stars if I could, and a hearty thumbs up.

I tried this vacuum cleaner because of the name and reviews. I'd like to say that the vacuum is an excellent value for anyone looking for a low cost, effective and lightweight product. I purchased this vacuum for my 85 year old mom who can't manage heavy weights at all. It needed to be able to clean with powerful suction and maneuver well. There is more than ample cord so it will reach long distances. With the combination of the suction and beater brush it managed to clean my mother's short pile carpet in no time. The only downside is that it has a small cleaning path and just a little flimsy. Tools don't attach to the body. The canister fills quickly (but it's a compact).

I have had this vacuum cleaner for about 5 weeks and it is a very good product. It usually picks up debris on the first pass, but no more than a second pass. It is relatively small and very light. I like the design because height adjustment is unnecessary because it is able to go over throw rugs and carpet without snagging anything. The debris goes into a canister which is easy to remove and discard the debris. I wish it had a few more tools, but other than that I am very satisfied with the product thus far.

I live in a small dorm-like room with a roommate. I used to have a Bissell CleanView that lasted for about 7 months before a hole was somehow worn in part of the vacuum. Air started to blow out of the vacuum so the debris on the floor would get pushed around and the suction drastically. I decided to look around for another vacuum. One of my friends recommended this Hoover to me. I bought it on Black Friday and I have used it everyday with great results. First thing I noticed was how lightweight it was. The box says it weighs only 13 lbs. It's such a smooth-operating vacuum. The suction is great and it truly is a pleasure to vacuum now. The only concern I have is the lack of being able to adjust the height of the vacuum. The carpet in my room is low-pile, but I'm not sure how the vacuum would perform on thicker carpet. But for me, this vacuum is one of the better purchases I have made.

I actually went to the store and did the demo. Very light with great power! The frist day we cleaned the whole house. The good - Compact size is great for the stairs Easy switch to the hand held Great power! Carpet saver switch The Bad - The container is small so need to empty more often To remove the hair on the roller must remove 5 screws Second day the wheels are making noise so I need to take it in Overall it's great for the price!!

I needed a small vacuum for my apartment, but something decent. Usually, a small vacuum is junk. This hoover vacuum is well made, light, gets under furniture easily with really good suction power. The canister is on the small sid, but I wasn't expecting a big canister on a small vacuum and the hose / wand is a little different, but functions fine. There's a dedicated button for turning the rollers off which is a must have feature.

i bought this because we had a 2 ton kirby vacuum which i HATED. i wanted something light and easy to maneuver, but didn't want to pay for a dyson. i like the way the features are attached/utilized and it gets the job done. best vacuum i've ever owned.

Most I have ever spent on anything like a vacuum and I love this purchase. It works great. Hasn't lost any suction. Glad I did this instead of the more expensive ones.

I have four long haired dogs and two long haired cats. When I brought it home I immediately vacuumed the bedroom, where the animals spend most of their time. The suction is incredible....almost too much, but I'm not complaining. Vacuuming throw rugs was hard because the suction was so intense. After completing the bedroom it was probably the first time that I would actually want to sit on the carpet. It was that clean. I have a Dyson Animal that I still use but it has never picked up the amount of dirt and animal hair that the Hoover did. I hope the Hoover will last a very long time. I'm very happy with it so far. The biggest draw back is that I had to empty the canister four times and that was just the bedroom alone. The first time I over filled the canister and had to reach in to pull out the dirt/fur. It was a gross. From now I'll keep an eye on the fill line, but it's too bad the canister wasn't a bit larger.

Excellent lightweight vacuum. Perfect for small spaces and handle drops down for minimal storage footprint. I bought one for myself and went back for another one for a gift.

This vacuum is awesome! It has good power, and the hose is crazy long! It cleans really well and is lightweight! It is nice and narrow so it can clean hard to reach places, and it literally can lay flat and still vacuum! I am very impressed, and so glad it was not crazy expensive! I'm a diehard cleaner, and I could not be happier with this purchase.

Excellent quality and works as well as the Dyson vacuums but the little things need work. The attachments always fall off for example. The filter is awesome cause it can be cleaned instead of replaced but it needs to be cleaned often. Great vacuum though. Dyson quality at half the price.

Just bought this today (7/23/2015) And already love it! I've never had a cyclonic vacuum before, but I'm amazed how well it cleans. Highly recommend this vacuum!

THIS UNIT IS THE BEST VACUUM I HAVE EVER OWNED FOR SUCTION AND CLEANING!!! IT IS EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT. I NO LONGER HAVE TO LUG A HEAVY VACUUM UP AND DOWN STAIRS.

I love this vac. Its light weight and does a great job, however I do not like the dirt gets stuck at the top of the container and most times I have to take the the canister apart to fully empty it which usually causes a bigger mess.

Good suction, Easy to empty. To use the attachments, the hose needs to be attached at the bottom of the unit. The handle is then attached to the hose to reach the hard to reach areas very well.
