good material and easy installation to protect new 3ds xl system

The product doesn't fit good with the 3DS XL. Case is also not molded to the system. Needed to buy double sided tape to hold the case in place. Case itself isn't greatly made to protect the system. Lots of exposed areas. Do not recommend to buy.

Nice protector. Won't hurt the console itself. Great quality.

This particular brand does not fit the DS and was returned. I was able to find the Nintendo DS brand item at Walmart and it fits perfectly and is an excellent protector!

The case covered the cartridge slot. So how do you put the game cartridge in? There is no way to put the game in without having to take the cover off.

Hated it. I have applied screen on various items and this was the worst to be apply on that I didn't even get it to protect it. Money thrown away.

The case did not fit our sons new 3DS XL as it said it would, I do not recommend this product for anyone who has a 3DS XL

I confirmed that this case is for 3DS XL, but somehow, it did not fit for my kids' 3DS XL.

Did not fit the game what so ever. It slides off so easily. I want to return the item.

Keep in mind, that this case is the Hori Duraflexi for the NEW 3DS XL. I got this to be able to have some grip and also to deter fingerprints so much on my new 3DS XL system. There is room to be able to fit artwork under the TPU top or bottom. Also, if you have a custom system, or decals, this will display them but keeping in mind it's a TPU and not a polymer resin, it's not perfectly transparent. The fit is loose unless you slide it on and then apply a few extra seconds of pressure, at which point it's less an issue of sliding around or off of the system. The placement of the corner covers on the bottom insider is near ideal for a bit of relief in the palms while holding for a prolonged period of time. The best part about it it that it's 2 separate pieces, so if I want to use my imported controller grip with it, I can slide off the bottom part, and then clip the grip into place and I'm ready for multiple hours of play without so much hand strain. Hori definitely is on the right track with this as usual. The best part about the case is that there's not gawdy logo on it like tthe BD&A model that gamestop sells for 14.99, that includes 2 styli, screen protectors, and cleaning cloth gimmick attachment. Hori has always stood for excellence and usability with a premium design. Overall, an A for this product.

I bought this expecting it to be clear but it's foggy. I didn't like it but it offers decent protection.

Was lucky enough to grab a Majora's Mask N3DS, and needed a case that would protect the system without damaging the artwork. This case is absolutely perfect! The material is flexible, kind of like a lot of cell phone cases, so it's kind of grippy and will absorb some small drops. Best of all it won't scratch up the system like plastic protectors. This is great for displaying limited edition systems, but I'd recommend this for any New 3DS system - it's just that good.

I bought this item thinking it would help to protect my 3ds XL. It can easily slip off with heavy use and doesn't protect well against impacts. Not recommended.

I bought this case for my son's 3ds xl and was not happy with it. It does not stay on the ds at all. Hope they find a way to help make cases that really work.

Works great if you want to keep your system protected but still display the limited edition designs on your system. I put it on my Majora's Mask edition and I can still clearly see the designs, amazing product!
