Snug fit. It securely holds and protects my Nintendo 3DS XL.

This case is really easy to take on and off. Great item and keeps my device protected.

It protects the 3ds from smudges and scratches...but it does not really protect it from a tougher source of damage if that's what it should be called. Dropping it from 5 ft, no problem...more than that...you might encounter a scratch or even breakage. The case feels nice and smooth but my only issue is that they don't stay on by gripping onto something else. It doesn't lock into place. The front cover always slips off when I let the kid play with it. I'm not entirely sure if he helps it along or if it slips off on it's own. When I use it, it stays on just fine...but again...it easily slips off. Overall, I'm happy with it...it protects like I want it to...it keeps it smudge free...and it still fits in my case and charges without having to remove it.

This system cover is just what I was looking for. Since Nintendo released the New 3DS XL I have been looking for a decent, non-invasive cover to prevent smudging and the application of excessive fingerprints on the device. This case not only keeps the 3DS clean (it has a polished surface which is easily smeared and smudged), it also does a great job at protecting the system's case. I highly recommend it.

The case will definitely protect scratches on the system. The only thing it doesn't protect is the hinges which is unfortunate. Also it is a fingerprint magnet so overall it is not as good as the duraflexi protector for the original 3ds xl but i still would recommend due to its decent protection.

Love it, easy to hold and protects the case. Well worth buying.

This is a great product. Quite simple, but very efficiente... Its made of a semi hard material and works just fine, protecting all the 3DS body against scratchs. Worth the price! :)

I bought a friend a limited edition 3ds for Christmas and wanted her to be able to keep it in the best condition. Grabbed this for her not long after. Some months later and her console is still pristine, while the case shows definite signs of enduring the abuse instead.

This is designed to go with the NEW 3DS XL. Given how much use the unit gets, whether you buy this case (provides substantial protection) or something else, buy a case! The game system takes a lot of wear & tear, and it's better to let the plastic case get scratched...

I know the headline is kind of funny, but that's what this basically is for kids to protect they're Nintendo 3DS. Hasn't been dropped yet, so I can't say how strong it really is, however it feels to be of great quality.

i like it for the fact it is light and not bulky, and yes it is good on drops, but getting a warranty is good to just in case it burn out or falls in water, this with a carrier case is perfect for your system

It is a good case for protecting the new 3DS. We bought it in store because it looked white from the package and didn't realize until we opened it that it was a clear case. Still works well for protection

This is a nice product for anyone who is concerned with protecting their 3DS. It fits well and seems to offer a fair amount of protection while not adding too much to the overall size of the device.
