Case protects system well. Must have for anyone who carries there system around a lot.

It is a great case for the price. It is flexible but still durable. Easy to put on and did not come off when dropped.

I put one of these HORI protectors on all my 3DS systems. They do a good job of protecting the unit from scratches and minor abuse while in use. I will say that the version for the previous 3DS XL was a little more secure than this one for the New 3DS XL. Honestly, this is primarily due to the button placement on the new console more than the product itself. I find the top piece starts to pull off a little near the sliders but this is a minor annoyance more than a real problem.

Keeps 3ds from damage, and is clear with no writing on case good for special edition.

This cover always my child to use his DSI and not scratch the case and it offers some protection if he drops it.

Bought this to keep scratches off my pretty N3DSXL. It's done it's job well.

I like that it's flexible and not hard plastic like a lot of other protective cases.

The case makes the 3DS a bit bulky and the bottom piece doesn't snap on in the back leaving you able to feel the case moving while you're playing. Seems to be decent for protection, but between the feel and the somewhat cloudy look I didn't keep the case on my 3DS.

Hori is a reputable company. They make fine controllers and joysticks. I'm not sure why this protector is so cheap. Its made from good quality materials. Its not hard plastic. Fits perfectly. Worth the price tag. Under 10 bones. You can't go wrong.

First, the Hori Duraflexi (TPU) case for the 3DS XL was excellent. It had a frosted look to it, and you could still see the images on your 3DS. It wasn't crystal clear like hard plastic, but the protection far outweighed the frosted look. However, the new Hori case for the New Nintendo 3DS XL has a raised pattern of dots on the underside of the top and bottom of the case where it would make contact with the top and bottom of the New 3DS XL. I recently stopped using mine because I was afraid of getting a permanent dotted pattern on my Special Edition Majora's Mask Model from longtime exposure. I like to keep my consoles in as mint condition as possible, so this is why I cannot recommend this "New" 3DS version by Hori.
