Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Split Pad Pro for Nintendo Switch, particularly its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and overall high quality. The grip and feel are also well-received, along with the lightweight nature and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the product wirelessly, and the potential for accelerated battery drain.

Pros: -Ergonomic -Buttons feels like a normal controller -Dock compatible -Officially Licensed by Nintendo Cons -Missing features like Rumble, Gyroscope, NFC -A little pricey for what it offers -Makes the Switch a little bit wider in handheld mode (kinda awkward for me) Would’ve been a perfect alternative to joycons if it included more features. But then, Nintendo would’ve not sold any more joycons if that’s the case.

Better contour and size in handheld-mode

Very comfortable to play in handheld mode now. The controllers add space and contour to your hands better, but don't add too much weight to it. Does add width, which I also think is better because it's easier to rest your hands on your lap. I like the texture on the back of the controller as well. Fits in dock still while attached as well.

Definitely worth the purchase. Stock joycons on the Switch are made children's hands and although they work well enough for most games, the larger grip area and spacing between trigger/bumper buttons on top is much more comfortable. The added customizable rear buttons is an added bonus and are easy to reprogram depending on which game your playing.

this was a great upgrade for my nintendo OLED. a lot more comfortable to hold i play fortnite a lot and it helps. i was confused on how to assign the back paddles but once i figured out it wasn’t too useful for what i play but it was an awesome feature

The Hori Spilt Pad Pro controller is a great alternative to the joy con or even for the Nintendo Pro controller. The controller feels and looks great. The only issue with them is that they don't have rumble or their own battery meaning they must be connected to a switch at all times to work. Otherwise these are great controllers!

Makes the Nintendo Switch bulky. Original Joycons are still better.

Surprisingly slightly less input lag than the joy ons. Wired always better for that; to remap buttons for the back bumpers is easy.

The controller is a good item for people with big hands. It does have quite a few downfalls. No vibration, they are very light, you cannot use them wirelessly, etc. Just to wore people. They are still good so you’re not using the small joy cons on the go. It helps my hands not cramp up. I would just be caution before buyer so you know what you’re getting.

Bought these as a replacement for the joycons when i'm on those long trips and they were worth it! they feel great in my hand and having a grip makes it feel like it won't fall from my hands unlike the joycons. they're not wireless or have a vibrate feature but its not a big deal if you're just looking for something to be used handheld.

This controller feel better than the joycons. The grip is better and every button and the analog sticks feel way better. The only bad thing about this is that it has no rumble, but its still a great product thats why I still give it 5 stars.
