They only work when connected(no Bluetooth or battery) and can’t wake up the switch. There are no rumble or motion features in the joy pads. There’s also no infrared or NFC(won’t read amibos) functions. The final nail in the coffin is it doesn’t fit flush with the face of the tablet. As a matter of fact, it’s also angled in the back preventing the switch from sitting flush in the dock. The only way I’d feel good about buying this product is if it had a $14.99 MSRP. It’s too bad there are so many shortcomings since the buttons and crossbar control feel great. Go with BinBok’s or NYXI’s joy pads. Not only do they comes with more features, they also cost less than Hori’s controllers.
