Customers are pleased with the Split Pad Pro for Nintendo Switch, particularly its comfortable design, suitable size for various hand sizes, and overall high quality. The grip and feel are also well-received, along with the lightweight nature and responsive buttons. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the lack of rumble and vibration features, the inability to use the product wirelessly, and the potential for accelerated battery drain.

I really like this accessory. Right now im playing more handheld mode than dock mode and it works much better than regular joycon... If you dont want to get tired quickly, its better to buy one of these. Completely recommend.

I purchased this controller because the controllers that came with switch console were too small for me to comfortably use while playing fighting games in hand-held mode. The larger grip makes the whole unit feel more like the pro controller, and I no longer feel like I need to support the weight of the console while I play, giving me unfettered access to right, left, and Z buttons. The addition of a programable third Z button on the grip was an amazing idea, and really adds to the overall use of the controllers. Furthermore, the included programable turbo is a nice addition as well.
There are some drawbacks with this controller as well. First, the d-stick on the left controller feels like it is too far away from the d-pad, so you may have to readjust your grip if you need to switch between controls. Oddly enough, it also feels like it is too close to the edge of the controller, making it a little cumbersome to use until you adapt to it. Secondly, the controllers are not self-powered, so your battery may drain a little faster than normal. This isn’t really that big of deal as long as you manage your power wisely, and charge it regularly. However it is something to be aware of if you take your console on the road a lot. Third, the large size of the grip means that it won’t generally fit your typical travel case. However, there are some newer cases out there that will do the trick.
All in all, I think this was a pretty good purchase and really fit my gaming needs.

This is a great accessory to have for your Switch, especially if you play on the go or mobile and the original controllers cramp your hands since they're too small, which they are. This feels like a normal size controller in your hands. Some say it may be bulky but its perfect for play on the road or sitting on the couch. Highly recommended!!

Nice and chunky, feels good in the hands. They feel like a professional controller chopped in half in the best possible way. They even fit into the dock if you don't wanna store them in your drawer. The sticks are very durable and can easily take punishment when playing games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate that would be intense on other Joy Cons, and the mappable buttons on the rear are great for more technical games like Monster Hunter when you need to use an item and can't afford losing a second of focus. The one thing that people may find a downside is the lack of rumble, amiibo support, and support for remapping in the Switch's settings, but if those aren't something you usually use then they're a definite recommendation to purchase.

These are awesome! Very much worth it for those who play mostly handheld. Also looks very nice in combination with the Scarlet and Violet edition switch
Good controllers but little bulky and a cheap feel

Got these to replace my joy cons since they started to drift. Work great but they are bulky and will add a lot of length and width. Material is lightweight but it feels cheap. Still definitely a good deal and feels like a controller.

Very ergonomic for bigger hands. Buttons are slightly mushier than Nintendo buttons but still clicky. Takes more battery than normal joy cons. Overall, for the price, the comfort it provides outweighs the other stuff imo.

this purchase came in the next of time! my autistic grandson broke his in middle of a game and was very upset. as much as his mom tried to calm him down asking him to wait another week he didnt seem to understand. as a grandparent i came to the rescue and was able to purchase and pick this up same day!.
This was a lifesaver and to see his smiling face was priceless!

Two major caveats are the lack of HD rumble (or rumble in general) and missing motion controls especially for ~$50 MSRP (not to mention missing NFC support as well). Despite this, the comfort and improved joy sticks make this an excellent alternative barring missing features and shine in games that are not as reliant on such features.
